Hey, I hope everyone's safe and well.
My first post on this community was a brief run-through of a character currently named Cherry Blossom (might change) , and although I'm content with her entire character, I've been conflicted by another backstory idea.
The idea in question goes something like this:
instead of her playing the role of Sentinel's troubled daughter, I thought it would be more appropriate for her to be one of his students/guards instead. That's the main concept. Of course, this changes. For instance, in TFP she would be an ex-soldier travelling across Earth and learning under Wheeljack or something like that maybe? Not sure yet. Could be an entirely different plot idea if it's too cringe. In TFone though, she would turn out to be one of the hidden High Guards definitely. Again, her character varies.
I kind of need help deciding this ^^".
Should I keep the whole daddy issues backstory? Should I change her character to be a high guard? And if so, should she study under TFP Wheeljack or should she have her own character/crew?
If you have any other suggestions for her, don't be afraid to comment them. I like discussing OCs and possible plots/backstories/etc about them, and I'm sure you guys have wonderful ideas ^^

I love the idea of her being an apprentice, and then possibly finding out about Sentinel’s dark betrayal. It could lead to some really interesting scenarios and character development later down the line with how she mightn’t trust authority figures! (Ps. Love the name btw!)

That’s understandable, it’s always nice to have a stark character contrast of personalities. I’m looking forward to seeing all of them!

I'm excited to show some of the ocs. I like deg them because you can get really creative with their armour and models and everything. The same could be said for MTMTE. I haven't read it yet but I've seen Cyclonus and Whirl and their designs are amazing

I really want to read MTMTE too someday (when I have the courage, lol). Also, you’re welcome! Deg can be super fun but super tedious as well! I’m currently deg Nova Storm, Sunstorm and Overlord for some fan art atm and omP, is it hardwork! But again, can’t wait to see more!
