Hello UOA ^^

It has been a while since I last ed! Thats due to Marching Band which will heavily affect how active I am on here. Expect me to be less active due to school because my schedule is very busy.

However! My school hasn’t started as I’m writing this post! It begins August 23, so after the weekend this is being written on.

This Won’t Contain a Long Written Out Story, but if you wanna see the actual art scroll down past the next part.

Inspiration and Thought Process

I’ve been wanting to draw more Sistertale Scenes, especially Sistertale Comics, but I really didn’t know how it would turn out for the longest time. But even so, I wanted to practice drawing more comics like the one your about to see. It’s a skill I think is super helpful when it comes to improving your art. I also did burn my finger in the process, so now my finger is in pain whenever it rubs against something.

I do think if I actually took the time to practice some poses the comic would look better. However due to Band Camp I had to work on this Comic on and Off. I was very inconsistent compared to most of my other artwork. Yet, it doesn’t look terrible in my opinion.

As for the context of the comic, or what gave me inspiration for it, I tried thinking of two characters I didn’t draw often together. Instantly my head said

“Draw a Kid Sofia and Kid Papyrus Comic.”

I haven’t drawn these two in a scene together, and I imagined it would be really cute. I do love Sofia and Papyrus’ Dynamic that they share. Both are fairly active compared to their older brother, and have wild fantasies beyond what most would have. They also both don’t have that many memories of their Mother. Despite Papyrus Forgetting who Sofia was, these two were always a Great Duo :heart: .

Also, I wanted to draw an Angst Comic of this, but this ended up being way more of a fluff comic. If this were fully an angst comic, it would be two pages long and it’d have a blood warning on the cover. But obviously that didn’t happen due to me not wanting to have to draw two pages.

As a last note: I want this to kinda foreshadow an and year late story that is STILL being written. Thats where the original idea mainly stemmed from. Now this takes place MANY MANY YEARS before that story takes place, but it is relevant. So enjoy some more context before I that Story that is WAY overdue.

Conclusion:

Just wanted to make some more Sistertale Content and flesh out some relationships some more. As I said earlier, I have way more posts planned and drafted, I just need to type them all out.
