Chat Helper Questions

1. What is your preferred name?

Jin, more known under iCkire. (You can call me both)

2. What language will you handle/create a chat for?

3. Are you able to speak fluent english?

Yes defently. Of course not everything since it's my third language but over the time I learned enough to speak in it quite well!

4. What is your timezone?

GMT2+ Berlin time

5. How would you rate your activity during your time as a chat helper on a scale from 1-10?

A good 7. I defently will check in daily since today, so I will at least check the chat one or two times a day but because I will be active of course more often.

6. Will there be any events that may hinder your ability to monitor the chat?

Not that I would know for now.

7. Are you able to work with others?

Yes. Either if it's for helping in the chat or the helpers them self that I should work with.

8. On a scale of 1-10, How efficient are you able to de-escalate situations with chat ?

7, I would ask questions to why it's deescalating and judge if I got enough information to it.

9. Situation: There are violating the guidelines in your language chat. What will you do to effectively communicate with the mod/host on what guideline they violated?

Yes. I would first ask the person the reason why, if possible and then come to any staff thatt is responsible.

10. Situation: There is a member causing a scene, and people are starting to get uncomfortable in the chat, how would you handle the situation?

I would first try to ask what happend. Than I would write the Person private and discuss it out. And also get to know both sides, so it matches or not what I get told.

11. Why should we choose you as one of our chat helpers? How can we ensure you won’t turn a blind eye to your chat if they violate the guidelines or make uncomfortable?

People in the german secror already know me and I have fun with a lot of them. So I would stay. I also do my daily check ins everday and rarley miss a day on being on amino. For the second question, I would, if it happens, come to the resposible Person to report it and will still ask the Person who caused the violation to why. And I guess you can always ask the other Event helpers, if I did turn a blind eye or not.

I don't have a resume and am only a helper and translator for ab event that didn't got a name yet. But I am a Leader in a german amino with 4k and think because of that, that I will handle it well enough to satisfy the requirements.

And so this would be technically my second event to help with. Even tho I also help people in chats even if I'm not responosible for helping them just because helping others is fun and makes great fun with others.

If a translator is not found, I also can take over that.
