Hmm- this was supposed to have posted last night, obviously my internet must've been too slow for it to have done so. Anyhow- On with the application!

How active are you?

I’m on at least 60 minutes a day every week, though I tend to spend more than that amount of time online if I’m able to.

What is your time zone?

AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time).

How well do you work in teams? Can you cooperate with others?

Once I get to know a team and what we do, I can work very well within a group dynamic. Given direction on what is expected as a team member, I’ll try hard to meet it to the best of my abilities. I’ve worked with a number of teams in the past, predominantly social-justice oriented groups. For example, I’ve worked with a soup kitchen staff, staff at a welfare shelter for women and children, and a group in Sydney whose job it was to assist the city’s poor and homeless citizens. On this Amino specifically, I am currently a member of the AHABS (Anti Hate and Bullying Squad).

I can certainly cooperate with others when it is necessary. I don’t like to gossip about others, nor will I react negatively if I don’t agree with or get along with another member in the group.

If someone is rude to you, how will you respond to them?

With patience. I can understand sometimes that when confronted with advice concerning posts, in this case spam, people feel the need to become defensive as to not feel like they are “giving in” or wrong in any way. If you use patience to continue talking to them calmly, logically and with an open mind, often that can assist with keeping them calm, too.

Of course, should things get out of hand, or should they seriously threaten me, I will report them.

For the example:

“Go away leave me alone. You can’t tell me what to do. Annoying brat.”

“Apologies if this is an annoyance to you, but it is important that we all work together on this amino to keep the feed clear of off topic or unnecessary posts. That way, you, me, and everyone else on here can see and enjoy the amazing pieces created for Undertale’s various AU’s without too much trouble finding them. :) Do you understand what I mean?”

How well can you take hate/harassment?

Extremely well. I hardly get bothered by it, if I’m honest. Online hate and harassment has never been a huge deal for me personally, though I know for others that is not the case. The only times it’d ever worry me is if someone were to threaten me with the use of personal information, like my phone number or address, in which case I’d report them immediately.
