I’m sorry if this story sounds rushed, by the way. I’ve been rushing to finish it qwq

Anyway, I’ve made a story about Nabstablook! This story takes place after Frisk killed all the monsters.

Nabstablook stood before Frisk, looking very uncomfortable. Trembling with fear and sadness, the ghost tried to muster enough courage to say something. After a few moments of silence, the human smirked. Then, surprisingly, Nabstablook did say something.

“I... I saw you... hurt people, you know.” Nabstablook said timidly. Frisk rolled their eyes. Equipping their knife, the human readied themself to attack. “Well... If we’re going to fight...” Nabstablook said. “At least that gives me an excuse to play some music...”

Nabstablook was wearing his headphones, and once music started playing he seemed to relax. Annoyance flashed in the human’s eyes. They lashed out with their knife, but their attack didn’t do any damage.

“I’m a ghost... ? You can’t... hurt me...” Nabstablook murmured. He began his first attack, but Frisk dodged it with ease. Attacking mercilessly, Frisk tried to find some way to hurt the ghost.

“Oh... you really meant it..... you want to hurt me...” Nabstablook said, hurt evident in his voice. The human never ceased their attack, and a bloodthirsty smile formed on their face. Nabstablook began to feel more and more fearful. As the fight continued for some time, he turned up his music, almost to max volume.

That’s when Frisk realized something. They couldn’t hurt Nabstablook, but they could stop that infernal music. With a quick slash of their knife, the human broke Nabstablook’s headphones into pieces.

Shock evident on his face, Nabstablook murmured, “My headphones......” He began to tremble once more, and he said quietly, “My cousin gave those to me... right before he left... ‘Don’t worry, darling. I’ll be back before you know it.’ That’s what he said to me... but he never came back...” Tears began to form in the ghost’s eyes.

“Well...” Nabstablook said. “You didn’t kill me... but... you did break my heart...” Tears were streaming from his eyes, the pain evident on his face. Suddenly, that pain was replaced with surprise. “Wait...” Nabstablook murmured, confused. “What’s that feeling...?”

The ghost’s soul appeared, trembling. It shattered, breaking into pieces. Tears pouring from his eyes, Nabstablook said with his final breath, “At least I’ll be able to see my cousin now...” And with that, he slowly dusted, then faded into nothing.

Smirking, the human stood over Nabstablook’s dust. The grin on their face was maddening. Chuckling, they said quietly,

“Crybaby.”
