Wassup

This is kind of a collab from Choco and I. Basically, this was her original idea but she cancelled it so I continued it since she asked me to. I also added a few changes qwq I hope you enjoy this story of ours!

It's a beautiful day outside, birds are sleeping, echo flowers are crying out, on days like these, skeletons like Papyrus. . .

Are on his phone, scrolling through the UnderNet.

Papyrus sighed, he had been doing this for at least two hours now and it was already 1:05 AM, he put his phone down on the desk beside him, then laid down on his comfy bed.

All of a sudden, he heard sounds of rocks being thrown into his window. Papyrus slowly set his feet on the cold, hard, brown floor of his room after rubbing his eyes. He put the curtains aside to see the rocks still going on - not showing any signs that it would stop until he opened it.

He grumbled; definitely not used to what's happening right now, "Who could do such a thing at midnight?" He whispered and slid the window up.

He was about to speak when another huge rock was thrown on his way, "HOLY MOTHER OF SPAGHETTI!" He successfully dodged it and proceeded to stumble on the ground.

"What just happened?" He groaned and shook his head before peeking out of the window to see a yellow, reptilian monster with no arms, a tail, and spikes on the back of their head; they're also wearing a yellow shirt with brown stripes. They're currently balancing a rock on their head and trying to aim it on the window.

Papyrus went into action and fully stood up, now glaring at MK, "EXCUSE ME, DEAR MONSTER BUT I CANNOT ALLOW YOU TO DESTROY MY WINDOW SINCE IT'S PREVENTING THE COLD TO LET IN MY ROOM."

They instantly dropped the rock before giving Papyrus a massive smile, "Yo dude!"

Papyrus gave them a confused glance and slowly backed up before closing the window and the curtains, "Did I see someone?" He asked himself and stared at the window, "Nah, it's probably just a ghost ing by." He shrugged and jumped on his car bed and finally dozed off after a few seconds; due on how tired he is.

"BROTHER, I'LL BE GOING TO UNDYNE'S PLACE NOW. THE FOOD IS ON THE TABLE IN CASE IF YOU'RE HUNGRY!" Papyrus yelled.

Sans lazily chuckled and waved at him while he's drinking his ketchup, "Have fun, bro. I'm sure you can do it since you're-"

"SANS, DON'T YOU DARE-"

"Pasta-tively amazing." Sans winked at him and looked back at the TV, he already knew what Papyrus' reaction would be.

"UGH!!" If Papyrus has a wig, it would have been snatched by now.

He took a few deep breaths before widely opening the door, "Well, that is pastably the worst pasta pun ever." Papyrus muttered and slammed the door closed.

Sans' eyes widened in surprise and gazed at where Papyrus' spot was, he teared up and grinned, "Man, my brother really did grow up now."

Back to our lamp post Papyrus, he's walking his way on where the River Person is, after all; he couldn't waste much time just to go there.

He reached it immediately because of his fast pace and saw the River Person waiting.

"HELLO, KIND MONSTER. DO YOU MIND TAKING ME TO THE WATERFALLS?"

The River Person smiled under their cloak and nodded, "Hop on."

Papyrus obliged and tried his best to not make it shift while going in the boat. The boat moved after he was content in his place, hearing the sloshing water in the process.

"Beware of the man who speaks in hands." The river person hummed which Papyrus doesn't understand at all. He just shrugged it off since the River Person is famous on it's weird sayings.

"I UHH, THANK YOU FOR THE WARNING, KIND MONSTER."

Eventually, they reached the waterfalls and Papyrus quickly went out of the boat.

"Come again, tra la la la."

"I WILL! THANK YOU!" Papyrus waved at him before turning around. He ran off to Undyne's house, visible excitement plastered on his face.

"UNDYNE WILL FINALLY TEACH ME HOW TO DEFEND MYSELF-"

"Yo!"

He stopped dead on his tracks when he saw the reptilian monster, again.

"OH… HELLO."

"I heard that Undyne is teaching you to become a royal guard! That's so cool, dude!"

Papyrus grinned, sudden pride is flowing through his body, "OF COURSE! I WOULD BE A ROYAL GUARD, UNDYNE TOLD ME THAT AND SHE NEVER LIED TO ME."

"Awesome! Can you teach me? Undyne doesn't want to do it since I'm still a kid."

Papyrus was about to respond but stopped when he noticed what time it was on his watch, "MAYBE NEXT TIME, DEAR MONSTER. I'm ALREADY LATE ON MY LESSON!" He patted the monster's head before leaving him.

The monster sighed and looked at Papyrus knocking on Undyne's door.

The door was opened and there stood the royal captain, Undyne. "Heya punk! Ready to smash some tomatoes?!"

"YES!"

Papyrus entered and closed the door while the reptilian monster groaned, "There's no way I'm giving up yet!"

"TODAY'S LESSON WAS GREAT, UNDYNE!"

"Heck yeah, it is!"

"SEE YOU TOMORROW FOR MORE TRAINING!"

"Same goes to you, punk!"

Undyne slammed the door in front of Papyrus while he turned around and started to walk away, happy that the training was finished successfully.

"Sup dude!"

The reptilian monster appeared out of nowhere that made Papyrus screeched, "Woah! No need to get horrified by me, dude." They laughed.

Papyrus scoffed and put his arms on his hips, "WHAT DO YOU NEED, DEAR FELLOW MONSTER?"

"You already finished training with Undyne, is it time for our training too?!"

"WAIT WH-"

The reptilian monster grinned and leaned closer, "My name is Monster Kid but you can call me MK! It's basic but Mom said it's unique!"

"OH-"

"Can we go to your house and train there? Or do you want to stay here?"

"NO-"

"Or maybe we can go to my place! But, Mom won't let strangers go inside so I guess we just have to-"

"WAIT!!" Papyrus yelled at the top of his non-existent lungs.

MK went quiet and looked at Papyrus, slowly cowering in fear.

"I APOLOGIZE IF I SCARED YOU, MK. IT'S JUST THAT, I NEVER TRAINED A MONSTER BEFORE SO I STILL DON'T KNOW IF I CAN TRAIN YOU."

"Oh, that's a… bummer." MK frowned, they stepped backward and sadly smiled.

"I'm sorry for the bother, dude! I'm gonna go n-"

"NO, WAIT!" Papyrus grabbed MK's shoulder and grinned.

"I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS HONORED TO BE THE ONE TO TEACH YOU HOW TO BE COOL!"

MK jumped in glee and bumped his head to Papyrus' legs since he doesn't have arms, "Really?! Thank you, dude! You're the best!"

Starting from that day, Papyrus trained MK about things that he learned from Undyne which is… cooking. They had a lot of fun and a lot of mess while doing it.

"PERFECT! IT SMELLS SO GOOD ALREADY!" Papyrus chuckled and helped MK to put the other ingredients.

"NOW, WE JUST HAVE TO ADD TH-"

All of a sudden, Sans peeked inside the kitchen, "Paps, there's someone on the door, I think it's looking for 'ya." He said.

Now that Papyrus listened closely, he heard banging on the door. This person is really excited to meet him.

Papyrus took his apron off and glanced at MK, "I'M GONNA CHECK IT OUT. CONTINUE DOING THAT, MY APPRENTICE!"

"Will do, dude!"

Papyrus went out of the kitchen while Sans followed him behind, "I'M COMING!" He opened the door with a smile but that changed when he found out who's been waiting for him.

"...HELLO UN-"

Undyne huffed and playfully punched Papyrus on the shoulder, "You've been teaching MK for so long and you didn't tell me?!"

"I'M SORRY UNDYNE, I THOUGHT IT'S NOT THAT IMPORTANT SO I DIDN'T-"

"Yada yada, let me in and we'll have more fun there!" Undyne grinned and let herself in, practically pushing Papyrus on the side while Sans gave her a confused yet serious stare.

Undyne dragged Papyrus into the kitchen and spotted MK, "Heya, punk! Ready to let the fire out of your body?!"

MK gasped in surprise and nodded happily, "Yes, captain!"

On the other hand, Sans just looked at the three silhouettes, he already knows that they have to find a place to live in temporarily since the kitchen will surely be on fire.
