Why I think Flowey can beat Sans

Howdy! What you see here is a post where I'm stating my OPINION and why I think Flowey in general would beat Sans. This post contains spoilers to both the regular route and the genocide route. So if you haven't play the game or the genocide route and want to have a fresh experience, here's a spoiler wall

Its also my first post of 2021, yay.

So, here we go. Why I think Flowey would beat Sans, I asked y'all in a poll who you guys think would win, Omega Flowey or Sans. Surprisingly, Sans won by like 4%

So, I'm here because I think Flowey would win, but before y'all go straight to the comment section and disagree, read the WHOLE THING.

Now let's talk about our Characters!

First up: Flowey the Flower.

We haven't TOO much of Regular Flowey. But we know he's pretty dang strong. He has little white bullets called friendliness pellets and is able to SURROUND the soul with it (with no escape I might add) and hurt them.

He's able to sink into the floor at any given moment. Whether it be ground, snow or the Hotland floors.

He has vines. So strong that he can incapacitate multiple monsters. Including the head of the royal guard and the King himself, all while taunting you.

So we know he's pretty strong. We also know that he's killed everyone in the underground multiple times in several timelines. In his dailouge in the genocide route, be says he killed everyone while doing everything this world has to offer

"I've appeased everyone, I've killed everyone"

Which includes Sans, if he didn't kill him, he would say "Well, except him..." or something like that. He wouldn't be so bored, he really had done everything, including killing Sans.

Speaking of, lets talk about the Skeleton

Sans

Now yes, I know, I know. Flowey warns you about him. But thats only it, he warns you, he only does this in the normal route because he knows your not nearly as strong as him to even come as close to killing Sans (imagine trying to fight genocide Sans at 20 hp max health...yeah) so he was warning you not to get on his bad side, because Flowey knows you don't know his true power (at this point of the game) so he's trying to warn you not to get scratched up like a record player like he did, because he wasn't prepared to fight Sans.

Plus, he only said he caused him his more fair share of Resets, that doesn't mean he didn't won. That just means that Sans kicked his hieeny backed to Monday, but just like we were, Flowey was determined to win, and killed him.

Sans is the most popular character in Undertale, no doubt about it. He's also one of the strongest. He has his karmic retribution, his bones, and he can dodge. Yes ladies and gents, he can dodge. He also has these things called Gaster blasters, these skulls that can shoot a blast of energy at a target.

Like his brother Papyrus, he can also turn your soul blue. But unlike his brother, he can force your blue soul to go into a different direction.

He also has blue bones, where if you move while its going towards you, you'll be hurt.

Here's the big thing though, after about 21 dodges, he gets too tired and can't dodge anymore.

Now let's get this out the way, Sans cannot resets. The only reason he knows how many times you die is because your facial expression. If he did resets, He would've killed you the moment you came out the ruins door after you reset for the genocide arc

Now, lets see fighting wise...

Honestly, I think Flowey would win. Not only does he have an attack that can one shot Sans (bullets that surround you) but just like us, he can save and reset. He can learn Sans attacks and could kill him. His vines could also prove useful.

But yes, Sans would put up a Fight, and his Karmic retribution would be deadly, especially for Flowey. His Blasters would be hard to dodge and he needs to watch out for Bones. I'm not sure if he can use blue magic on Flowey because he doesn't have a soul...

So yeah, but the real reason I made this post was to talk about Omega Flowey vs Sans, because Sans won

So, I'm gonna talk about Omega Flowey now...

Omega Flowey is practically a God, and has multiple attacks and abilities. Including Loading his save file at will, Vines, a huge blaster, flamethrowers, bug trap's, friendliness pellets, friendliness stars, and the oh so famous soul section.

He can even reload his own save file to heal himself. Which is something no boss could ever do

~Results~

Omega Flowey would stomp Sans so hard, it wouldn't even be funny. I don't care what the situation is, but Omega Flowey has so many rapid attacks, and who says that Sans could dodge them all? Like Bullet hell. Ive never seen any player not get hit their first time Fighitng Omega Flowey. For Sans, it's ALWAYS gonna be his first time. Because yes, Omega Flowey MAY reload his save file to revive him to fight him again, but Sans doesn't know that. Not to mention that Sans could easily be caught off guard by the save and reload attack and could easily be striken down.

The only thing that could possibly help Sans here is his Karmic retribution, because Flowey's love is off the charts.

Even if Sans did manage to get him to a low enough HP to "kill him" Flowey would just heal like he did us. Not to mention he AUTO KILLS US at the end of the fight, meaning he could've ended the fight anytime he wanted. He was toying with us

Unlike Sans, we have lots of hp, but Flowey still kills us with the blink of an eye, all while reloading and doing it over and over.

Who's to say he couldn't do the same to Sans? Because no one can dodge it. Many greater men have tried (you can see your soul moving if you try to get out the way, but his attacks are too quick)

And guess what? Sans is a one shot. He gets hit once, its over for him.
