Hey all!! So I haven't posted in a long time. But a question has recently crossed my mind. That question being, what type of OC'S do you guys like? Do you like the short and sweet explanations or do you like paragraphs upon paragraphs? Or do you like a semblance of both?

After making so many characters I learned the more detail you are the less likely they will be similar to other characters you create. For example you have two vampires. They are different. But over time you make more vampire characters and then you're at a risk of writing the same characters over and over. Then again having short characters also helps the character fit any story line. And it helps you make more characters in the long run as they will always play a different character. So it depends on what they will be used for. Story or roleplay.
I like an overload of details. Mainly for myself! So like... If I were to go back and double check or clarify a detail in the future, I have it alll there.
Buuut, there are some aspects of a character I don't think really need to be detailed with a whole paragraph explanation. Like name and age haha.
