My own entry for the #albumcoverchallenge) Challenge. Hopefully you guys will like it :blush: . I tried my best :joy: . Uh, and, I shouldn't really say this about my own challenge... But I had a lot of fun and probably spent far too much time on this :joy: 🤷 :blush:

Masquerade

This album is about how a person can hide their intentions and emotions behind a mask. When the mask is removed, things are not as they seemed.

The concept of this album is inspired by the 80s film 'Labyrinth' in which there is a masquerade ball.

At some point during the film, Sarah, the protagonist is given a peach that is enchanted by the goblin king. It makes her forget all of her previous goals in finding her taken brother, and allows the goblin king, Jareth, to seduce her into staying with him. He does this by creating an illusion of a perfect masquerade ball.

I think that Vixx could really pull off this concept as enchantingly seductive goblin Kings.

Album cover

For the album cover, I decided to go with a leather-look. Black leather with a red underlay as though the black has been cut out, and white leather with gold paint. A red version, and a gold version of the album.

The album has five songs, as well as an intro.

Each song is mysterious and dark.

Intro

Midnight

I imagine this as a dark, atmospheric instrumental piece with hints of waltz music. I thought about how cinderella's illusion fell to pieces at the strike of midnight, and that's why this track is named as it is.

I also think that it would look awesome with a dance choreographed by N.

One

MASQUE

The main title of the album would be a dark piece - Like 'Fantasy' but with the playful uniqueness of 'Scentist' - with each of the member's dramatic vocals melting into each other.

Two

Porcelain

This would be the second song on the album. I imagine it to be soft and beautiful. Delicate like porcelain. The song is titled porcelain because some masquerade masks are made of porcelain, as well as porcelain dolls - which I think fits well with the concept.

Freak

A rougher, faster song - much like Vixx's

'What you waiting for' or 'Secret night'

I feel like this would probably be well written by Ravi ┬┴┬┴┤ ͜ʖ ͡°) ├┬┴┬┴

Four

Hide and seak

Would be a mysterious song with creepy undertones. I imagine that the song would sound happy, but it would have darker, haunting lyrics.

An enchanting song led with Ken's soft vocals.

Black Heart

A black heart hidden behind a beautiful masque.

In the music video, Vixx will be handsome Goblin Kings that enchant you into forgetting about your life and relatives (oh wait, hang on…. they already do that every comeback :smirk: ), in the music video, they play a mysterious. Villainous role.

The dance choreo will include expressive, dramatic moves, with some moves inspired by waltz.
