Let's discuss poison powers!

This can be linked to plant and dark powers, but I thought it could use its own individual post! This can also be considered as radioactive or chemical powers!

Main uses

Now poison can include acid and poison clouds and spores. These can cause severe illness or even instant death in the right doses. Acid can eat through almost anything if it's make it strong enough. Different poisons can make different things happen! Not all result in death. Some can put you to sleep while others might just make you paralyzed. Sometimes the poison can be created within the s body and is in their blood or released from their skin on command. In other cases, they can control the form the poison takes. Maybe a giant dragon made of poison liquid or controlling a tornado of poison gas. This can also be used to coat weapons or attacks to make them more powerful in combat.

Dark side

As you can imagine, poison and hazardous chemicals can have very gruesome side effects. They don’t only make you sick by some can mutate or even devolve parts of your body. If it’s acid it can eat though flesh and so poisons can leave nasty marks and boils if you survive. Thing can get very gruesome with radiation and poison. And the worst of it is that it can affect the if they aren’t careful.

Sometimes this can only be manipulated through an existing source and often requires intensive knowledge of poisons and how they are cured to use them effectively. Another downside is that a poison may not always be in complete control of when they release poison, making them a danger to allies.

How it's described in writing

This power is usually in the form of liquid, gas or light. If it’s poison, it will take the form of liquid or has. It can honestly be any color in the forms, but the usual go to colors are green and purple. But sometimes it’s invisible to the naked eye and is impossible to avoid breathing in.

Radiation is a bit different. When it comes to radiation, it travels at the speed of light. If you see a nuke explosion you’re already exposed. This is DEVASTATING in large quantities, but isn’t as quick of an effect as liquid or gas poison.

Like all poisons, it’s not the substance that kills you, but the dosage of it. In other words, something harmless in small amounts can be deadly in massive amounts.
