Monster High: The Search For C.A. Cupid Chapter 8

This is it everyone, the final chapter to The Search For C.A. Cupid! And I just wanted to say thank you all for reading it. Although I may have made some changes back on chapter 1, 2 and 3 a little bit. But, I think I really done well writing this story. Hope you guys and ghouls all enjoy the finale.

"The Search For C.A Cupid"

After all the things happened outside Monster High, Headless Heistress Bloodgood saw everything and came out of the school with Nightmare, her pet horse. "What is going on here?" she asked. The ghouls and fairytales looked at her and she noticed some students that weren't monsters. "Who are all these people?" Cupid finally spoke to Bloodgood about the fairytales as she walked to her. "Heistress, these are all my new friends from my new school, Ever After High." Maddie waved to the Bloodgood. The Heistress looked at the fairytales with the ghouls and looked back at Cupid. "Ah, so they must be your new friends." she answered. Although, she doesn't know what or where this "Ever After High" place is. Until Astranova has something to say. "I know where it is." Everyone looked at Astranova while being more confused as Bloodgood. "I understand it seems strange, but my friends Apple White, Raven Queen and I both met during the evening when I was inside the comet." Astranova explained. "We have known each other ever since. That's where I discovered all of you from Boo York. When I helped you and you helped me get my comet crystal back. As I arrived at Monster High, they were both curious to know if this place full of monsters is really real. And it is, it seems like we have a connection between our world and their world. Something new, or something old, we're still practically the same but much more different. We can all see and experience new things and enjoy old things as well." Raven and Apple smiled. Cleo, Clawdeen, Draculaura, Operetta and Gigi smiled too. Headless Heistress Bloodgood is proud of Astranova's words and understands every last one. "For old and new friends, they can still be with each other," said Bloodgood. "Everyone in all fairytales is welcome to visit here." The fairytales and ghouls cheered after they heard that. Right in the nick of time, Heaster Milton Grimm and his Brother Giles came just in time but...rather in awkward situation. "Monsters??" he exclaimed. Giles had to calm him down. "Please don't get stressed out brother." he said to him. "The important thing is the students are safe and sound." "But what about them? And why is Cupid with them?" Heaster Grimm was puzzled with his questions. Gigi and Cupid both walked up to him. "Heaster Grimm, it's okay!" Cupid told him. "They're my friends from my old school, Monster High." Heaster Grimm raised an eyebrow. "Monster....High?" Before he can ask another question, Giles looked at Gigi and recognized her. "Gigi? Is that you?" Gigi smiled happy to see him again. "Hello, sir." she replied. "It has been so long! You used to be inside the lantern used your finder has found you!" Giles continued. "You were very lonely and your finder wished you your shadow sister." Gigi nodded and beamed. "Yes, and now my sister finally got to be the genie she always wanted. She got her wish and I got my own. Being with my ghoulfriends in Monster High." Giles was so proud of her. As for Cupid, she finally has the courage to tell the ghouls why she left Monster High for Ever After High. She walked up to Operetta, Lagoona, Draculaura, Cleo and Clawdeen and all the others. "Hey, guys? I have something to tell you..." she stammered. "I wanted to tell you before, but I was afraid that you all might get upset with me..." Lagoona felt bad and put her hand on her shoulder as comfort. "Don't worry, mate. We won't get upset." Operetta agreed nodding her head. "Yeah, we're like a hundred peas in one pod." Cupid's smile started to appear on her face again and finally explained. "Okay, the reason why I left Monster High is because...I thought some other people like the fairytales needed love advice just like you. For me, It was my chance to try something new for a change. I still like hosting my radio love broadcast and bringing people together, but maybe...seeing or trying new things can be a great experience. " Everyone listened and understood her. "I may or may not have my destiny, but I just know that people would follow their hearts to be who they want to be and choose their destinies for their own. When I follow my heart, I still bring love and peace to us all. And I love my new friends and my old friends. As a love expert myself, I love all of my friends from the two different schools, monster or fairytale." Cupid said, beginning to miss her old school. With Draculaura being emotional, she ran to Cupid and hugged her. "Oh Cupid, that was very sweet!" she sobbed. Clawdeen, Operetta, Cleo and the ghouls hugged her. "And I think I'll get back to Monster High as well. I really missed you all so much." said Cupid. Headless Heistress Bloodgood looked at Cupid along with Heaster Grimm after exchanging expressions, and they began to think about it. "Please???" Frankie pleaded with her neck bolts sparking. After just a couple seconds, they both nodded. "Of course she can come back." Bloodgood replied. Everyone cheered and Cupid happily squealed. The ghouls and fairy tales were really happy with her. Maddie had another idea. "Hey! Everyone!" The ghouls and fairytales looked at Maddie. "Since Cupid is going back, why not throw her a farewell party back in Ever After High?" Everyone murmured in agreement. "Oh sweet, That's a great idea!" said Clawd. "Ooh! Ooh! I can definitely wear my fable-ous dress to the party!" Briar cooed. Maddie smiled and spun around. "Let the spellebration begin with a dance, twist and a spin!" Then, she pulled a teapot out of her hat and poured herself some tea to sip in her teacup.

To another step to the portal leading them back to the school of Fairytales, the biggest party has begun as everyone and every monster were dancing, playing games, talking and so much more. Melody Piper, the daughter of the famous Pied Piper, was in the DJ booth playing some amazing music with Holt Hyde. Blondie Lockes was hosting her Mirrorcast while holding her MirrorPad with Spectra being busy interviewing. “So, you have your own news called the Gory Gazette, right?” asked Blondie. Spectra nodded. “Yes, it used to be called, “Ghostly Gossip”. But now, I decided to make real news. And this? This is really real news!” Spectra floated up joyfully. Blondie laughed. “Well, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. Hey, we should interview our friends and ask what they think about this party.” That made Spectra beamed. “Oh, spooktacular!” Then Blondie gasped, with an amazing idea. “We could do a collaboration sometime!” Spectra replied. “That’s even better!” Spectra and Blondie walked around the party for more interviews from each ghoul or fairytale. Meanwhile, Apple White was sitting under the stars looking at the moon. Darling saw Apple outside. In a nervous matter, she doesn’t know if she's upset or not. So, she walked to check on her. “Apple?” she called. Apple turned around and saw her. “Darling?” “What are you doing here?” asked Darling. Apple continued to look up at the starry night. “Oh, I thought I could relax here for a minute. This is a hexcellent party and all, but…I just wanna enjoy this beautiful view outside.” At least now Darling knows Apple isn't upset or depressed. But, she had an uneasy feeling in her stomach. She wanted to tell her about what happened back in the dragon games. Instead, she decides to tell her in a different time. As Darling sat next to her on the bench to look at the stars with her. The bright small stars twinkle and shine in different directions. It was rather peaceful with crickets chirping their songs and animals were sleeping. Some animals were awake gathering food or their evening dinner. Later, Apple spoke to Darling. “Hey, Darling?” she turned her head making eye with her. “I just wanted to say thank you for saving me from the Evil Queen,” said Apple. Darling smiled. “You’re welcome. That’s what friends are for ever after, right?” Apple giggled “And I think that was brave of you for fighting against that dragon. Even though that was Jinafire under the evil queen’s spell.” Darling proclaimed to her, “Thanks, who else knew how to battle against dragons?” Both of them laughed. The peaceful soft sounds of the outdoor noises are still alarming around them. Darling couldn't handle the feeling any much longer than she thought. She thought it was the best time to tell her. “Apple?” “Yes?” She replied back. Darling began to feel nervous again and asked her a single simple question. “Do you when you were poisoned by an apple and…you were waiting for your true love?” Apple looked at her with a concerned look on her face. “Yeah…why is that?” Darling took a deep breath and exhaled, prepared for the truth to spill. “Well…Daring Charming wasn't the one who woke you up.” Apple patiently waits for an answer. “Who is it?” Darling braces herself and….”The person who woke you up from the poisoned apple is-” Before she can say another word. Maddie came and found them. “Hey, you two!” Darling and Apple both jumped with fright going eye-wided. “Meeshell is performing for the party!” She exclaimed. “Yeah, and it's gonna be voltageous!” Frankie added. Then, Maddie and Frankie ran back to the party. Darling and Apple looked at each other one last time before they giggled again. “Maybe I'll tell you later,” said Darling. “Let’s go dance.” Apple agreed with a smile as they both walked back to the party. But, deep down, she's curious to know who was Apple's true love that woke her up from her deep sleep.

As the best farewell party ever after continued, Meeshell Mermaid sang her song everybody danced to. All the ghouls and fairy tales were having the best time in their lives. Even though the pesky three goats ate a few of some flowers. Okay, maybe more than a few. Still, it was the most memorable farewell party to . After the party ended. Cupid gives everyone her last goodbye to the students of Ever After High before she goes back to the monster world. All the monsters that visited the fairytale world were leaving and saying their goodbyes to the new friends they met and related to. Blondie, Raven and Apple walked to Cupid. “Cupid, you were my best roommate I ever after had,” said Blondie. “And we will always be the best roommates together. And if it weren't for your help with my family tree project, I wouldn't be just right.” Cupid smiled and hugged her. “Thanks Blondie, I just knew you had your own choice to tell as a royal. That includes your heart too.” Raven gives Cupid a gift for her. “What’s this?” asked Cupid. Raven and Apple both smiled. “Why don't you open it and see?” said Apple. Cupid looks at the cover that says “Best Friends Forever After”. Then, she opens up the book. Not just any book, It's a pop-up book of all of her friends in Ever After High with itty bitty pictures of herself, Cedar, Apple, Raven, Dexter, Briar and all the students in Ever After High. Cherishing the memories and the times they spend together. “What do you think?” asked Raven. Cupid looked like she was about to cry a full waterfall of joyful tears. “This is adorable…” she rejoiced. “I’m gonna miss you all so much…” Cedar, Kitty and Briar smiled. “I can not tell a lie, this is making me teary-eyed,” said Cedar. “We’ll miss you too, Cupid.” Briar said. She sounded sad to see her go. Raven spoke as she showed her the book again. “And with this book, it's to us when you go.” Cupid looked at the pop-up book again. And this time, a tear fell from her eye. “I’ll never forget you guys. Never ever after…” Raven, Apple, Darling, Hunter, Briar, Kitty, Blondie, Maddie, Ashlynn and Cupid's other friends all gave her a big group hug. Cupid sniffled and kept her pop-up book with her. “I promise I'll visit this place. And maybe you can visit Monster High.” “Sounds enchanting to me,” said Raven. “And we could probably learn more about your old school too.” “Absotively!” Maddie agreed. Cupid looked at half of the ghouls going through the mirror portal back to Monster High one by one while some were talking and saying their goodbyes. “Who would've thought the daughter of Red Riding Hood would have wolf ears?” Clawdeen said. Cerise laughed it off but then got nervous real quick making no one else hear their conversation. “Well…that's pretty much page-turning.” she quietly mumbled. She looked around one last time and then whispered. “But, you have to promise me not to tell anyone. Nobody, cannot see my wolf ears.” she told Clawdeen. “Not even Heaster Grimm or anyone else.” Clawdeen understood and kept her promise. “Your secret is safe with me, ghoulfriend.” “Thanks, Clawdeen!” Cerise smiled with relief. As she smiled and waved, Clawdeen went back to Monster High. Draculaura and Gigi followed her but stopped and waited for Cupid along with Cleo and Operetta. Cupid walks to the ghouls but stops to look back at the fairytales one last time. “Charm you later, everyone…” she said with a warm smile. All Cupid's fairytale friends waved their goodbyes while Blondie yelled out. “Don’t forget to hext me!” Cupid giggled and wouldn't forget it. And just like that, Cupid waved goodbye, then she and the ghouls all walked through the mirror portal. “Charm you later, Cupid…” said Apple. A few weeks later after the magical and adventurous event, Cupid got herself a new look that represents both of her best schools she's ever gone to. From head to toe, she's wearing a black headband with red and pink hearts printed on, her baby pink hair all long and curly, fingerless gloves with her most beautiful dress mix with a shade of magenta, pink, black and a bit of gold, some leggings and her pastel pink platformers as the finishing touch. As she walks down the hallway of Monster High, the students are surprised to see Cupid's makeover. Even Clawdeen and Frankie seemed to be surprised as well. “Nice outfit, Cupid! It's so…so...unique!” Clawdeen exclaimed. “Right, It's beyond voltageously faboolous!” Cupid remarked the compliments and smiles. “Thanks, ghouls. This is to show how much both of the schools from this world and Ever After High means to me. And I love both of them.” At that moment, Clawdeen had the most clawsome idea yet. “OH! That reminds me! I just figured out what fashion line I can make!” Frankie and Cupid looked at her. “You do? What's the new line?” Cupid asked. “I can create some sweet scarytale-inspired outfits! Now, that's something new I can design!” with that, she howled happily. “Voltage! I can't wait to see the clothes you make Clawdeen!” Frankie raved. “Yeah, and just imagine what everyone else thinks. It'll be the best line ever!” As Clawdeen and Frankie walked off with Cupid talking about the new Scarytale fashion line. Cupid re the pop-up book Raven gave her before she left. She decided to stop at her locker to take a look at it again. “You ghouls go ahead,” said Cupid. “I’m just gonna revisit this book again.” “Alright, Catch you later.” Frankie replied. She and Clawdeen kept walking as they finished their conversation. Cupid looks at her gift and smiles warmly, never forgetting her friends from Ever After High. The school bell rang loudly and all the students walked to their classes. Cupid closes the book and puts her book inside her lock to get to class. “For my love advice, love the old and new friends to keep your friendship alive and connected like silver and gold.” said Cupid. To this day until now, the ghouls learned that seeing or experiencing new things can be a good thing for a change. Making new ghoulfriends or...new fairytales to be precise. Keeping your old friendship you have while you make new connections with new friends. Not only that, but you can love both your new and old friends to the end. to be yourself, be unique, and be who you truly are. Royal, Rebel or a Monster.

Aaaaand wrap that up like a Christmas present! That's the end of The Search For C.A. Cupid guys and ghouls! And thank you all for reading this story, I worked so hard writing this and I'm really grateful for it.^^ Tell me in the comments on what you think of my story and feel free to share your opinions. Now, I can finally relax from all the writing I've done. I'll probably post again sometime...okay, maybe until I regain my motivation to draw XD.
