Welcome to the first issue of the Howler’s Chronicle! The Howler’s Chronicle is the monthly newsletter for the Night Sky Community. Each issue will contain news and updates from around the community to keep in the loop about events and other fun activities that the Council has in store. Also included in the Chronicle will be sections to highlight great posts made by our to celebrate their hard work, as well as out Monthly Contest for Witch of The Month!

The Chronicle is a great way to keep in touch with what goes on here in the NIght Sky. So even if you take a few days away from the community, the monthly Chronicle will be here to help you stay in the know!

In the News column, we have three important topics to cover. All topics that will be discussed have been put into a list just below for your convenience and to provide an overview.

For the first order of news in the community is an announcement from the Night Sky Council. The Council is proud to announce that we have a sister community! The Leaders of the Council have been in talks with the Leaders from the Pagan Haven community, and the decision was made official by both parties back in the month of March.

sᴏ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴅᴏᴇs ᴛʜɪs ᴍᴇᴀɴ ғᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴏᴍᴍᴜɴɪᴛɪᴇs ɪɴᴠᴏʟᴠᴇᴅ?

We are glad you asked! Both communities being sisters means that there will be many benefits like; shared resources, collaborative activities and challenges, a shared team, as well as more friends to meet and make plus loads of fun!

The second item of community news is that we have another Cross Amino Challenge or Collaboration Challenge. This challenge is one that was put together with the Pagan Haven community as a way to kick start the bonds of friendship and fun. The challenge is called Spiritual Sanctuary, in this challenge participants will be creating a mental space of peace to practice magick! Having a mental space such as this is helpful in a number of ways. While this challenge will most definitely be creative and fun, it will also be a wonderful learning experience for of both communities!

Last but not least is the third and final item for the news column. The Night Sky Council and the s of the Pagan Haven have come up with an exciting event to celebrate the Sabbat of Beltane.

To start off the the ing of our two communities with a bang, there will be a Beltane festival hosted tly by the Haven and the Night Sky! Together both communities will be celebrating together in the best way that we know how, with a party!

During the festival there will be games, quizzes, pop-up chats, and much more to celebrate in full merriment! This will surely be one event that you won’t want to miss, so be on the lookout for more information in the near future!

Both communities are hoping to make this event an annual event if all goes well so be sure to drop by and show your if you are interested!

If you have been around the community for a while then you will probably the monthly contest post that we have running called Witch of the Month. For those of you would maybe be new here, Witch of the Month (WOTM), is a contest that we have to show our appreciation to our . Each month the member with the most posts is announced and awarded the title of WOTM, there are also interviews for the contest winner and having their work displayed on the community broadcasts as well.

While the past WOTM announcements have been made via blog posts, the Chronicle will now be taking over those announcements from here on out. All benefits that have been detailed above will still be available for our contest winners so there is nothing to worry about. The post is simply relocating to its own column here in the Chronicle.

Witchcraft: Reality Check it a post that helps to define the line between movie magic and the magick of witchcraft, what is and is not possible. Thou the post does contain the author's opinion, it is at it's core a helpful post.

Spiritual Oasis

Spiritual Oasis is a response post to the recent CAC that the Night Sky and the Pagan Haven have ed hands to create. In this post the author describes the world that she escapes to when she needs some much needed ME time!

Beginning You're Magickal Path

This post will be a huge help to new witches who are just starting out on their path. If you feel like you don't know where to begin or where to start looking, or what sort of resources to use than this post is for you!
