New Year at WOP

Hello and welcome to a new year here on WoP!

Well done to all of you who ed your exams into the next year and better luck to those who need to retake this year!

(I know a few of you have had some problems regarding exams, all I can say is I am sorry, but I am looking into it for you!)

Despite this happy new year, I do have a little bit of sad news for you all. It is with sorrow that I let you all know that our wonderful Gryffindor Head of House has decided to step down and start her retirement years! I would like to thank Artemis for all her hard work and dedication to the students, especially to the Lions. I wish you a happy retirement Artemis!

Artemis has become quite busy in real life so has decided to step down, we wish her the best, and hope she still comes to visit us from time to time!

I do not want the Lions to worry for you have a new, head of house to replace Artemis, so let's all welcome Professor Phoebe Halliwell! She along with her cousin will take on the Divination and History of Magic classes.

On another note, we are now into a new year, which means more homework for you all to enjoy, new points to be earned, and even new friends to make! Also we have some new features in the amino.

Students can now earn Galleons for doing Homework, Challenges, and more. See here for more information.

Along with now earning Galleons, you can also buy items from shops in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Yes you heard correct we will now have shops!

Along with the shops is the chance to be an employee of said shops you the students and staff can work in these shops and you will be paid to work in the shops!

Lastly, the new term will start on February the 29th. I hope to see all your beautiful and bright faces in classes or even out shopping. :smile:
