CWA Time to Rumble Episode 5

The show kicks off with Jaxon Fury making his way to the ring, fired up and focused after his victory last week that earned him a shot at the CWA Television Championship. The crowd chants his name as he grabs a microphone.

“Last week, I did exactly what I said I’d do. I beat Matthew Blackhart, and now I’m coming for that Television Championship,” Jaxon declares, pacing in the ring. “Aden Graves, you can keep dodging me, you can keep acting like you're untouchable, but at CWA Untitled, I’m coming for you. I’m taking that title, and there’s nothing you can do to stop me.”

Jaxon waits, and the anticipation builds. Moments later, the arena lights dim, and Aden Graves’ theme music blasts through the speakers. The Television Champion emerges on the stage, his signature smug grin plastered on his face. The championship belt glistens over his shoulder as he stands at the top of the ramp, microphone in hand.

“Jaxon, Jaxon, Jaxon...you really think you’re ready to step into the ring with me?” Aden says, laughing as he struts down the ramp. “I’ve beaten everyone they’ve thrown at me. I’ve held this title for longer than anyone else. And now you think one little win puts you on my level? Please.”

Jaxon interrupts, “You talk a lot for someone who’s too scared to step in the ring right now. How about you stop running your mouth and actually prove you’re as good as you say you are?”

Aden’s cocky demeanor shifts to a more serious tone. “You wanna fight, Jaxon? I’ll give you a fight.” Without warning, Aden rushes the ring, sliding under the ropes, and the two men immediately begin exchanging blows in the middle of the ring. The crowd erupts as fists fly, each man looking to gain the upper hand.

Jaxon and Aden’s brawl spills out of the ring as referees and security rush to break it up, but neither man is backing down. Aden manages to ram Jaxon into the barricade, but Fury fights back, landing a flurry of punches before slamming Aden’s head into the ring apron. The fight escalates as they make their way up the ramp, chaos spreading through the arena.

Aden tries to retreat up the stage, but Jaxon isn’t letting him get away. Jaxon catches Aden with a hard clothesline, sending him crashing onto the steel stage. The referees try to intervene again, but Jaxon waves them off, grabbing Aden by the hair and pulling him to his feet.

With the crowd on their feet, Jaxon hoists Aden up and hits the Fury Road – but this time, it’s off the stage! Aden crashes through a set of production tables below, leaving both men lying in a wreckage of debris. The crowd is going wild, chanting “Jaxon! Jaxon!” as he slowly gets to his feet, glaring down at the fallen champion.

Medical personnel rush to check on Aden, who is barely conscious after the brutal impact. Jaxon stands tall on the stage, making it clear that he’s not just coming for the Television Championship – he’s coming to end Aden Graves’ reign.

The screen cuts backstage where General Manager Lance Catamaran stands beside a newly revealed championship belt on a podium. “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m proud to introduce the newest prize in CWA—the Catalyst Championship! This title is unlike any other. Whoever holds this belt will have the ability to cash it in at any time for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. This title could change the course of a career in an instant.”

The camera zooms in on the new belt, highlighting its intricate design and the importance it holds for the roster. Lance finishes, “I expect fierce competition for this championship, and we’ll be seeing matches soon to determine its first holder.”

The stakes are raised in CWA as the Catalyst Championship promises new opportunities for those hungry to challenge for the World Title.

Backstage, Ben Buchanan is nervously pacing in the locker room, clearly still haunted by his loss to Shawn Hendricks at No Glory in the West. His face shows the toll the defeat has taken on him. He mutters to himself, replaying the loss in his head, his confidence shaken.

Suddenly, the lights flicker, and the eerie presence of Shawn Hendricks envelops the room. Shawn steps into the frame, his face twisted into a sinister grin as he stares down Ben.

“You still feeling it, Ben? The loss...the fear. It’s eating you alive, isn’t it?” Hendricks says, his voice dripping with menace. He steps closer, forcing Ben to back up against the locker. “But don’t worry...I’m done with you. For now.” Hendricks pauses, letting his words sink in before leaning in close. “I’ve got other people on my mind. There are more souls to haunt in this company.”

Hendricks walks away, leaving Ben shaken and broken. The psychological torment is far from over for Buchanan, but for now, Hendricks has his eyes on new prey.

The match starts with Ben trying to shake off his nerves, locking up with Castle. They trade blows, with Castle using his power advantage to take control early on. Ben manages to fight back, showing signs of life with a few high-impact strikes, but Castle is unrelenting.

Just as Ben starts to mount some offense, the lights flicker again. The haunting theme of Shawn Hendricks fills the arena, and the crowd goes silent, sensing what’s about to happen. Ben’s eyes widen in terror as he scans the arena, his focus entirely on the entrance ramp.

Meanwhile, Frank Castle uses the distraction to his advantage, hitting Ben with a brutal clothesline and then tossing him into the corner. But just as Castle approaches for a follow-up move, the lights go out completely. The arena plunges into darkness, and the sound of sinister whispers fills the air. When the lights come back on, Shawn Hendricks is standing in the ring, right behind Frank Castle.

Without hesitation, Hendricks grabs Castle by the throat, lifting him off the ground, and delivers a devastating choke slam. Frank Castle crashes hard to the mat, and the crowd gasps in shock. Ben, still dazed and confused, slowly gets to his feet as Hendricks turns his attention back to him.

“I told you, Ben. I’ve got other targets now,” Hendricks sneers, his eyes never leaving Castle. The damage is done—Castle is out, and Hendricks is sending a message loud and clear.

Ben, still shaken, stares at the carnage in the ring, knowing that he’s not the only one Hendricks has his sights on. He backs away, leaving the ring as Hendricks stands victorious, looming over Frank Castle.

Next up is the tournament match for the newly established CWA Women’s Championship. Shay Perez takes on Kylie Cole in a heated contest, with both women eager to advance to the next round.

Kylie starts strong, using her strength to control much of the match, grounding Shay with powerful slams and suplexes. However, Shay Perez fights back with speed and agility, showcasing her brutal striking offense.

The momentum shifts in Perez’s favor as she hits a series of quick strikes and a stunning springboard crossbody. After an intense back-and-forth battle, Shay hits her finisher, the Killer Soulstice, for the victory, advancing to the triple threat at Untitled.

Backstage, Bullet Club (AS3 and The Cucamonga Kids) are seen gloating about their interference from last week. “We told everyone we run this place. Tag division? Ours. Singles? Ours. No one’s safe,” AS3 boasts.

Their arrogance is cut short when The Straight Edge Society (Bully Shay Webb and DJ) storm into the locker room. Bully Shay gets in AS3’s face, “You think we’re just gonna let you slide after what you pulled last week? We’re not done, and we’ll show you tonight.”

AS3, smirking, responds, “You guys are in for another lesson from the Bullet Club. Tonight, we end this.”

The two sides nearly come to blows, but security steps in to separate them before their main event match later in the night.

The scene shifts backstage, where CWA World Champion KOD Rush stands in front of a wall of championship posters. His World Title gleams over his shoulder, and he's focused as he begins speaking into the camera.

“Jett, I’ve heard everything you've had to say. I know you're confident, and I know you're coming for this,” Rush says, gesturing to his World Title. “But let me make one thing clear: I didn’t get to this point by backing down from anyone. You say you’re the future of CWA, but what you don’t realize is that the present is here, and it’s me."

Rush pauses, his intensity growing.

"At CWA Untitled, you’ll get your chance, Jett. But don’t think for one second that it’s going to be an easy ride. I’m the World Champion for a reason, and it’s because I’ve faced the best and come out on top. You might be hungry, you might have heart, but what you need to understand is that when you step into that ring with me, you’re going to be facing the absolute best this company has ever seen.”

Rush smirks, looking directly into the camera.

“Bring everything you’ve got, because I’m not just going to let you walk out with my title. I’m going to show you exactly why I’m the greatest CWA World Champion.”

Rush steps back, his eyes narrowing as he finishes, “See you at Untitled, Jett.”

The camera fades to black, leaving the tension thick in the air as both men’s paths cross at the pay-per-view.

The main event of the evening is set, with The Cucamonga Kids (Matt and Nick Cucamonga) facing off against The Straight Edge Society (Bully Shay Webb and DJ). The match is intense from the start, as both teams look to prove they’re the dominant force in CWA.

Matt and Nick hit a series of synchronized dives and double-team moves, keeping Bully Shay and DJ on their heels. The crowd is electric as the Cucamonga Kids rally, with Matt landing a flying crossbody to Shay Webb and Nick delivering a springboard leg drop to DJ.

However, The Straight Edge Society is no slouches. Bully Shay’s power and DJ’s technical skills begin to turn the tide as they ground Matt and Nick with hard strikes and submission holds. DJ locks Nick in a painful armbar while Shay unleashes powerful kicks on Matt, slowing down their momentum.

The action spills to the outside as all four men are brawling on the floor. Bully Shay hurls Nick into the barricade while DJ slams Matt into the ring steps. Just when it looks like The Straight Edge Society has the match won, the Cucamonga Kids rally back with an explosive combination of moves.

Nick manages to escape an STF from DJ, and Matt hits a superkick to Bully Shay’s face. The Cucamonga Kids then hit their finisher, the Meltzer Driver on DJ. Matt goes for the pin, and the referee counts—ONE! TWO! THREE!

The Cucamonga Kids win the match in an intense battle, with the crowd on their feet, chanting their names. Matt and Nick raise their hands in victory, celebrating with their fans as The Straight Edge Society retreats up the ramp, fuming over the loss.
