For those of you who don't know, August 11th is my birthday and I've had a very great day with quite a few awesome wrestling moments which I'd like to share! The first thing that happened was I received some really cool wrestling figures as a birthday gift.
I got three 12-inch figures of The Undertaker, Kane, and John Cena. The reason this is so cool is that I can make The Undertaker look like he's playing the LEGO Ideas Grand Piano and it's very fitting because I can play The Undertaker’s theme on piano. Along with those three figures, I got two elite Mattel figures, one of Matt Riddle with his scooter and the other of a Target Exclusive ECW Rey Mysterio in a robe with the World Heavyweight Championship!
Today is also Hulk Hogan's 70th birthday and it was really cool to see WWE celebrating this wrestling legend's special day. Ever since I found out that Hulk Hogan and I share a birthday, I always thought it was awesome. Happy birthday, Hulkster!
Lastly, who could've expected this?! Rey Mysterio, my favorite wrestler of all time takes the place of Santos Escobar to face Theory for the United States Championship. Did anyone predict him actually winning? It was a surprise enough just to get to see him wrestle, and then before I knew it, Rey Mysterio became the new WWE United States Champion!!!!
Just look at that incredible match ending. I could not bolieve my eyes when it happened, but I'm so happy for Rey and even happier that it happened on my birthday of all days. That's about everything wrestling related that happened with me today and I'm glad I can share it with all of you. Thank you for reading! :grinning:
