[C]When winter comes around, I have found that I prefer longer books. As seeing until this yea

When winter comes around, I have found that I prefer longer books. As seeing until this year, I was in school and December was the month that I was able to read the most. I always found my self-picking up books that had at least 400 pages. Here are ten that I loved reading in past Decembers or I would suggest for myself this December.

The first one is Wool by Hugh Howey.

This book was one this year that I loved so much, and I could see myself curling up spending the long nights reading this one.

The second one is actually a series, The Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare.

These books (I have said before lol) are like coming home to me. I want to pick up Clockwork Prince this month actually.

The third one is the Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare.

This series is six books long and they are all at least 400 pages. This is another series that I hope to reread soon.

The fourth is the Red Queen Series by Victoria Aveyard.

I will only say the first three because I have not got my hands on War Storm yet but it is an action-packed series that I highly suggest.

The fifth is Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia.

If you are from a small town like I am you will love this book. It is a sort of love story and again one that I want to binge on the cold nights.

The six is The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter.

This is a mystery that will have you so hooked that you will not want to put it down. So, it will be great for a long night of reading.

The seventh is The Host by Stephine Meyer.

For me, this is a nostalgia read. I love it so much. I am aware that it might not be the best writing but I still loved it. Also, no one told me that it was a series so I want to continue with the series.

The eighth is The Hate U Give.

I read this book in literally a day. It is one of those that I just want to say in and read during the cold months.

The ninth is The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo.

This book is a mystery that keeps you hanging to the very end. I loved this so much! I actually just recently realized I never finish this series. I am hoping to finish it soon.

The Last one is one I hope to get to this month for sure. That is Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare.

I have read this before but I do not it and I have Lord of Shadows on my shelves.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I hope you pick one of these books up if you do let me know which one you choose.
