Hey, my name is Sean and I’m new to this wonderful community! I’ve been a huge fan of YA novels ever since I was young and it’s so hard to find folks who are willing to rant about fictional characters with me. Until now! I can’t wait until I can start having some great literary conversations with you all!
For now, I’ll start the conversations off with my very own #welcomechallenge
1. Who’s your favorite YA author? And what’s your favorite book by them?
My favorite YA author is definitely Veronica Roth, and my favorite book by her is Divergent. Veronica Roth has been my favorite YA author ever since I read Divergent for the first time and I think that’s because of the way she was able to touch me through her writing.
2. What are you reading right now?
Currently, I’m reading the second book in Scott Westerfeld’s Uglies series, Pretties. I’ve been pretty slow at reading it, but that’s because of school starting back up recently. It really is a great book!
3. Which YA book are you most excited to read?
Veronica Roth’s collection of short stories, The End And Other Beginnings, is coming out very soon and I’m so excited to finally get to read it!
4. Where’s your favorite place to read?
My favorite place to read is anywhere outdoors on cool morning.
5. Anything else we should know about you?
Along with being an avid reader, I’m also an aspiring writer! I have countless OCs and so many stories floating around in my head just waiting to meet the page!
