"Smart" Phone

Now this wasn’t something that could just go away whenever I wanted it to. I had to deal with the fact that a ghost was possessing my phone and there was nothing I could do about it. I mean, I could just get rid of the phone-but for all I know she could jump from that phone to the next one I get. Like it or not, I was stuck with her.

I don’t know the specifics on how this works, but I know for a fact that Siri would never have the smarts to do this. I mean, this phantom used to be a living 15-year-old girl. That means she knows just about as much as I do about math, history, and reading. Okay, maybe I know a little more than she does because I’ve kept up with the twenty-first century using the internet. But Nona IS the internet. She has access to the worldwide database of Wikipedia. She's a better "smart" phone than any company could make.

I managed to keep her quiet by muting any notifications until I was able to get home. It was still not safe until I knew it was. So I waited until it was somewhere around 4:30 AM (I’m a night owl). I took her out of my pocket (front pocket this time) and opened the messages app so I could communicate with her. Because I have A LOT of questions to ask her.

At this point, I knew what I was dealing with. At least she wasn’t a threat. That I’m sure about.

If the killer was dead then things still do not add up. Why is Nona still here if she has no business here?

I know I went off-topic there but it was worth talking about. I’m learning more about a supernatural being and what it’s like. But back then, I was still skeptical about this whole thing. So I asked her to prove herself.

I waited a couple seconds before I witnessed my phone start floating out of my hand. It was amazing! She - a phantom - was able to come in physical with objects in the real world.
