Dead man is a term for a bad tornado when two funnels and for a split second look as though a man is walking. This gave me an idea for a long term roleplay.
If you have ever seen twisters it's basically the same idea. A group of storm chasers have been following a chain of storms for a while now. They end up in a small down near the heart of Texas when they notice the clouds starting to change. Excited they all grab their gear and follow suit. Its not long before it turns into a twister and starts moving fast. Another pops up and before they know it they're facing a category F5 unlike they've ever seen. The group survives but breaks apart shortly after. One member of the group never stopped and started working on a project called "Spin Cycle" basically made a program that allows them to track the weather ahead of time so they can predict bad storms and get everyone out before it's too late. There was only one problem. They needed to test it. So with nothing to loose they decide to visit their old friends one by one, hopefully to once again unite the team.
