The "link" post type has been disabled in this community. Why?

1. It encourages posting with little or no text, which is against our community guidelines

2. When your video is viewed here on Amino through a "link" post, YouTube does **NOT** count the view, which doesn't help your channel.

The very best way to attract interest to your video post and get views that are actually counted is to make a good blog post with attractive pictures and link to your video. When people click the link, they view YouTube through Amino's browser. They don't leave the app, so it isn't inconvenient, but YouTube counts the view. It also makes it much easier for your viewers to like, comment, and subscribe.

Tap and hold in the main content text area until the enhanced text tool bar comes up if you want to use it. This is particularly helpful for placing images in specific places within your post.

Paste a URL into the text area and it will automatically create the link and ask you to name the link.

If you absolutely insist on having a video embedded even though (as explained above) it hurts your channel, when you an "image" you have the option to select from YouTube. This will actually embed the video, rather than a static image.
