Game Type Rhythm

Osu! (the ‘u’ is silent) is a free to win rhythm game. It has no ads, is in the development of an another client “Osu!Lazer”, (Which is open sourced so if you want to contribute to the development of the game search up osu!Lazer on github)

This game is one of the few games where it is ENTIRELY community based. The beatmaps (maps for the songs that you play) are made by of the community and approved by other community . The community make skins for people to change their visual experience and they they help shape the game and its future

How is it free to win you may ask? Well I’ll tell you. This game’s leaderboard is based completely off skill. You can’t spend money on some in game currency to help boost your rankings. You can buy osu!er but all it does is make the game more convenient in of ing maps. You can be a top player with a mouse and a regular keyboard. There is no need to get a Fancy mechanical Keyboard or a drawing tablet or a touchscreen computer. If you want to get better all you have to do is play the game. Of course if you want to you can get these things but still it’s very reliant on actual skill.

This game can go from easy songs like this Easy Song Full Combo To songs that seem manageable to moderately difficult songs Medium/Moderately Difficult Full Combo To songs that are boardline impossible for literally anyone that hasn’t touched the game and to 99% of the current player base Nigh-Impossible .

It’s a good game and I recommend you at least give it a try if you have a PC. it doesn’t cost anything, there are no adds, and it has a skill based leaderboard what more can you ask?

*Dont expect to play for the first time and immediately become a good player no matter how much gameplay you watch. It’s been little over a year since I started playing and I have 175 hours in but I’m still only ranked 84k globally (top 3% of players) and 14k in the US*

If you’d like to see some gameplay I have a playlist that show replays from some decently difficult maps I’ve done. Here’s the Playlist
