Which ship is your OTP and why?

The ship that is my OTP has to be deathshipping. Because I find them really cute together.

Was it your first OTP?

No. My first OTP was thiefshipping.

What makes them so special that they are your favorite?

I always love couples who are opposite from each other. Like Ryou is a sweet and kind guy. While Yami Marik is a psychotic and only cares about himself. But they actually have a few things in common. Based on Ryou's deck he might like occult things. And Yami Marik is literally about creepy things. Also they both know what's it like not being able to be their own person. Ryou is constantly trying to keep his friends safe from Bakura. And sometimes Bakura pretends to be Ryou so he could get close to the Pharaoh. While Yami Marik had been part of Marik from his childhood. So he never experienced things like everyone else. And I like to think Yami Marik was like an imaginary friend to Marik. And he also killed Marik's father because he was protecting him. But then Odion showed Marik his own scar on his face and that made Yami Marik be sealed away inside of Marik. And Ryou is usually sealed inside the Millennium Ring. Also I enjoy reading fanfics where Ryou tries to help Yami Marik become a better person and actually teaches him how to love. And that's why I love deathshipping.
