Zelda Ports

With tears of the Kingdom only 6 days away it got me to wondering after the game launches what does Nintendo have planned in between major releases? If I had to make a guess I'd probably say they're going to put some past games on the Nintendo switch.

Considering how Nintendo easily ported multiple Wii U games to the switch I'm surprised they haven't done it with the HD remasters of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess yet? I'm hoping that like what we got with Mario Bowser's Fury they could add additional features instead of them just being a straight port. In either case I'm hoping it's only a matter of time.

After the success of the links Awakening remake for Nintendo switch I'm really hoping that they're going to do the same thing for the Oracle games. Grezzo seems to be the go-to for well-made Zelda remakes. I'm also hoping that if these games get a remake there will be less chance of having to play through each game two times a piece.

I love the N64 games and the remakes on the 3DS were the Pinnacle of perfection. The Legacy Collection for the Mega Man Zero series showed us that DS games can be ported to the switch successfully and I'm hoping the same could be said for the 3DS remakes. Plus it would be nice to be able to play these games on Nintendo's most recent console without having to pay a subscription to do so.

Here's hoping that it's only a matter of time before we can see these become a reality.
