Chapter one: The Girl In The Forest

:warning: Link's dream diary/journal Chapter one: The girl in the forest SPOILERS FOR Ocarina Of Time and Breath Of The Wild. :warning:

Ever since I woke up from the Shrine of Resurrection, I've been having dreams, Impa told me I should write them down so maybe they will make more sense.

Last night, I slept inside of The Great Deku tree, I dreamt vividly, a young girl she was older than me in my dream, she was playing an odd instrument on a tree stump, she made me feel safe like how I felt around Mipha, a big sister figure, a protector.

I approached her, and she told me to "try to follow along with the melody I play." She taught me how to play her song on the odd instrument. I was then suddenly on a bridge, and my heart hurt as I departed from her.

After leaving, I came back... I was bigger, yet she was still small. Her song was so happy, yet her eyes held a sadness... she looked at me and suddenly I'm in a castle...it was Hyrule castle yet different... darker... there was a chill in the air and I followed her song, she looked at me with the same sadness I saw when I regained my memories of Mipha and we said goodbye for the last time. The girl looked at me and spoke, "I always believed that you would come. Because I know you... No... You don't have to explain it to me... Because it is destiny that you and I can't live in the same world."

I woke up with tears streaming down my face, so many questions without any answers. Why does it hurt so much? Who was she? Why does my soul feel like it's aching... Mipha.... I'm sorry I couldn't protect you... I should've been there...
