Long ago, the ancient Sheikah constructed four titanic mechanical animals, the Divine Beasts, to aid the princess and the hero in sealing away Calamity Ganon. Now, it’s your turn to create a Divine Beast of your own! Whether you prefer to bring your ideas to life through art, writing, or edits, this challenge is your chance to expand the legend of Hyrule with your creativity!

Visualize your Divine Beast! What does it look like? What animal or creature does it resemble? How does its element influence its design? Let your imagination run wild as you create your mechanical beast.

• Be as creative as possible!

• Do not steal another artist’s work. References are allowed, but proper credit must be given.

• Share proof and progress if required (those with the ‘Hylian Artisan’ title are exempt).

Tell the story of your Divine Beast! What faction or race does it belong to? What powers does it wield? How did it come to be? Explore its lore and give it a place in Hyrule’s history.

• Keep your work original—no plagiarism!

Edits

Incorporate Divine Beasts into your edits! Whether it’s a reimagining of existing ones or a tribute to your own creation, make sure your edits showcase the beauty and power of these legendary constructs.

• If using art in your edits, credit the original creator.

Rupees & Deadline

The winner of the challenge will receive a shiny rupee, which can be used in the rupee shop!

To be eligible for the rupee, submit your entry by April 13th at 11:59pm EST. Late entries are welcome but won’t qualify for the rupee.

The winner will be announced in the next Monday Spotlight and awarded their rupee after the deadline.
