grand the sun rises

i sit down to

my memory burning aways

painting the ground, the embers

i feel thy heart hollow melody

my soul aching with sorrow

for if i've forgotten those i loved

what will be gone tomorrow?

dear goddess i pray

mercy you'll bestow upon me

for those i've left behind

i ache for forgiveness

for each swing of blade

bloodied hands are mine

i live to lay them to rest

for they i pine

hola, amnigos! wanted to do some poetry of botw link as my first post back from my unplanned hiatus. playing the game for the first time, i the loneliness of link really hitting hard, because he can never see his friends (the champions) again. really tried to exert my vocabulary here, so i hope it was a nice read.

read a lot of edgar allen poe today so im feeling inspired! hope your day is very pleasant ^_^
