I thought a cool way to blog about this week's theme was to make a little top 3 song list. I've done something similar in the past for my favorite Zelda items.

In the #3 spot we have...

⬤ The Song of Healing ⬤

(here's a good remix for it)

A classic, I'm choosing this for the wonderful overarching themes of this somber melody. Throughout the whole game, Link uses this song to ease aching hearts. I especially love the scene where Link heals the burdened soul of the Goron warrior that failed to defeat the monster threatening his village. When the warrior hears the Song of Healing, he is finally able to accept his defeat, and es on peacefully.

In the #2 spot we have....

⬤ Title Screen from Ocarina of Time ⬤

(vaporwave remix)

This iconic theme has it's beginnings in the very first Zelda game but it's known for his majestic place showing Link riding through Hyrule Field just as the moon rises. I chose this song for the childhood memories I have hearing this song play on the old Nintendo 64. It really takes me back.

My absolute FAVORITE ZELDA SONG....

⬤ Spirit Tracks Maddallus ⬤

(my fav remix)

I could cry thinking about this song, it's literally the emotional climax of an incredibly engaging narrative, AND ITS SOO GOOD :sob: :sob: :sob: Half way through this final battle, Link has to start playing the Spirit Flute in a duet with Zelda, then the sage dudes hop in adding their instruments, then Zelda's sacred power is unlocked and the orchestra swells and Link and Zelda fight side by side one final time to stop the great evil once and for all 🥹 It's so FLIPPIN EPIC!!!
