Ayvirin was an accident child of a new young couple. Neither of them were ready or prepared for a kid so it was very chaotic. The pregnancy was rough and had complications. When he was born his parents were tired but they tried to be good parents. His early childhood was pretty normal. His parents worked at a nearby stable so he spent most of his time there. He learned how to ride horses, learned some sword skills from travellers and played with the other kids at the stable. Everything was normal.

When he was 6 his parents had another kid giving him a baby sister. He was happy to have a sibling but his parent's attention shifted. The new baby became the main focus to the point that when he'd go up to his parents they would just tell him to go play somewhere else. He tried not to let it get to him and spent his time doing his favorite activities alone. One day he snuck one of the horses out and road it into the woods. He wasn't doing anything dangerous he was just trying to do something fun on a summer afternoon. During this trip he ran into a strange teenager. It was unexpected and he was confused but he approached them.

They were sitting on a tree stump, surrounded by little birds and squirrels making flower crowns and they had wings? He got off the horse and walked up behind them. Before he even got to say anything the turned their head to him and said "That's interesting, A child blessed by Farore.. "

Ayvirin, shocked and confused asks what they meant.

"My apologies, let me introduce myself. I am Birch, I am the child of Farore created to live and serve Hyrule. I can sense in you powers gifted to you from her. However I also sense Din's magic but fainter which is a bit strange. "

Ayvirin was surprised and excitedly asked Birch to tell him more. Birch explained that the Godesses and spirits like to bless families which determines their magic and abilities. Many never unlock these powers but it's definitely possible. Ayvirin asks Birch to teach him. Birch agreed. Over the next few months he would return to the forest each week and spend time with his new friend and learn from them. It's difficult to unlock powers so once he did he was no where near a master level. But slowly he learned to grow plants and make nature grow and assist him. It was unbelievable, he loved this new strength and wanted to keep learning. After a while Birch stopped him.

"Ayvirin, I have a new idea. We should try and tap into fire abilities rooted in your family. I believe it'd be just as useful of a skill as controlling nature. "

He wasn't sure if it'd do much. He knew his dad's family had fire as their family crest so it's gotta be something. He decided to give it a try.

Birch told him instead of imagining growth and moving forward he would have to imagine power and strength. After a week or two of struggling he finally learned to create a flame. Tho much weaker than his other magic it was amazing.

After about a year had gone by one day Birch disappeared. They stopped showing up and Ayvirin lost a teacher and a friend. He should've guessed it would happen, he was just a kid and Birch was a teen they probably had to move on in life but he was still upset. He hopped off his horse and sat on the tree stump where he met Birch and began to try and create a bigger flame. After a while of practicing he got bored. He was just getting up to walk to his horse and return home when out of no where a Bokoblin showed up. It swung at him and it didn't exactly miss it's target. He tried to use vines to trap the Bokoblin but it landed another hit while he was on the ground. He managed to trap the Bokoblin and accidentally killed it with the vines. He stared at it, horrified. Not sure whether to be guilty, shocked, scared, or in pain he just ran to the horse and rushed home.

It was late and when he arrived home his family was asleep. The moment he tied up the horse and walked through the door the pain hit him. This was way to much for an 8 year old to be experiencing. He wasn't sure what to do about his wounds. He was hurt and he had to cover it up, he was panicked and not thinking straight. He found some cloth he could wrap himself with but the panic and pain he was experiencing distracted him and he somehow manages to light it on fire with his fire abilities. It burns his chest, he tried to put it out with growth but he was exhausted and couldn't. The fire spread and grew bigger, as he panicked more it grew more there was nothing he could do. He was just a freaked out child who can't control his own powers. Boards from the roof start to fall and land on his legs. The impact leaves scars, he desperately fights his way out from the boards and he escapes from his room through a window as his house was engulfed in flames in front of him. He heard the screams.

He ran. He didn't know where he was going, he didn't know if he'd live. He just ran before he ed out from the exhaustion. Katla would go on his morning walk alone that day and along his walk he noticed a very terrifying sight. He saw Ayvirin laying on the ground and quickly rushed to help him. He wraps Avyirins chest and stomach with some clothes and he makes a sound. "Thank Hylia this kid's alive." He gently picks him up and rushes back home. When Katla gets home He gets Cassandra to treat Ayvirin immediately. She cleans him, bandages him, give him medicine, food, and water. He slowly starts waking up more and more, Cassandra acted fast and it worked.

When he was finally up he just ate and ate food. When he finished he chugged the water. Katla finally asked him what happened. He goes blank, just staring. Katla looks like his mom. He tears up, ".. momma?" He starts sobbing and wiping his eyes. Katla isn't sure what to do, he gets up and hugs Ayvirin.

They decide it's better not to ask what happened. They take care of him for the next couple months and eventually he healed enough where he's practically back to normal. One day he very randomly asks Katla and Owen, "will you be my family?"

"Yes, of course"

Living with his new family he's continued to learn sword skills. He doesn't use his abilities anymore. He doesn't blame Birch at all, he blames himself and he feels guilty. They don't even know about them, but he just won't talk about his past no matter how hard they try. Hopefully one day he'll open up, but for now he's living every day the best he can with his new family.
