A quick post on finding new info

I would like to make a more in depth post tomorrow on some other old notes. I have alot of school work today and I'm still sick.

For now this quick post will be on finding good sites and taking breif notes, especially for birth charts.

When looking for new information always asses the writing style and examples used by the site you're looking at. If the site has mostly pictures with just random little info bits about a sign or signs then those are ok but not super helpful in the long term. Sites that give examples of weirdly specific but also still vague situations are the sketchiest to me and I almost never trust these. They also are often trying to look like a psychic or spiritual company and give enough info and filler to sound ok but are reaching and making up stuff that sounds good enough. They have long pages of text with examples like, this pairing likes these types of restaurants (inserts specific names of places) and argue over x y z.

An example I more highly trust is something like

Leos and Libras both appreciate beauty and have particular taste, on a date they will likely find a visually pleasing setting. Leo likes being shown off and Libra likes socializing, this couple wouldnt mind public spaces. Etc etc.

The way the more trustworthy text is written is more about each individual and not about adding random specific things to make it sound better or to squash to skeptics criticism or astrology being too vague. You can also look at how much the site itself is trying to sell you. Many more legitimate sites can likely offer reading services for charts and the similar normal stuff youd see from an for tarot, astrology, etc. Less legitimate sites might try to sell psychic readings for crazy amounts, they might have a bunch of ads for themselves and others on their sites (legit sites can have ads too just the placement and amount is less intense and less in your face).

If you've used cafe astrology, the only astrology book you'll ever need, and other highly discussed and recommended book and websites that go in depth then you can compare a new site's or 's writing to those of the highly discussed and recommended.

This made me think about how I describe astrology to my skeptic friends, which are many, and how much they like how I think about astrology and my cards so maybe I'll make a post on that later.

Also I totally didnt write about taking short notes, sorry I will do a separate post on that too.
