• Everything you need to know about the Advanced Classroom •

Hello! I’m Lavinia, the teacher of the Advanced Class here on Zodiac Amino. This is just a quick overview of the class, what you need to know to be in the class, and the purpose of the Advanced Class.

• What background a student needs going into the Advanced Class •

Because the Advanced Class covers topics like asteroids, synastry, and different types of astrology charts, students need to know the basics:

• The Signs and their characteristics

• The Houses and their characteristics

• Each core heavenly body: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto

• Aspects: conjunctions, oppositions, trines, squares, sextiles

• How to read natal charts in general

If you are unfamiliar with any of these things, it would be better to go into one of the other classrooms before entering the advanced class. You can always later.

• What’s covered in the Advanced Class •

• Asteroids •

In astrology, the term “asteroid” is used to describe various types of heavenly bodies, not only asteroids in the astronomical sense, such as small planets.

Asteroids can be used like the core heavenly bodies to understand different aspects of the natal chart and others. In the Advanced Class, we will cover various asteroids, exploring their astrological influences and significance.

• Synastry •

Synastry is the astrology of relationships, romantic and platonic. In this type of astrology, a special type of chart is used that basically combines the charts of two individuals to see the overlays and aspects formed between the two.

Synastry can be used to help one better understand their relationships with others in general, but it is also very revealing about one’s own identity and misconceptions often.

• Other Charts •

There are various other types of charts that the class will cover at different points: Persona Charts and Draconic Charts, for example.

• Schedule •

The class’s schedule may vary, but at least one new asteroid or some in depth examination of an asteroid will be covered once a week.

A lesson on synastry is also covered once a week.

Other charts do not have a set schedule at this moment.

Due to work and classes of my own along with health issues, I may not be able to stick to a regular schedule, but the class is kept active no matter what.
