Hello MA! This post is here to talk about one of the Mod Team's Protocols - Dyslexia Friendly Posts. Here on MA, we are very aware that people have dyslexia and other disabilities, some that even some of the mod team have ourselves. There are many ways dyslexia can affect someone, and unfortunately we can't meet all those needs. So over time, and continuing, we gather information on more common things so we can do what we can for as many as possible. This post will dive into those boxes that must be checked for something official to be posted, for all sides of official messages and posts.
Disclaimer: These are just things the mod team do! Unfortunately we cannot always enforce these rules to the entirety of the community due to language barriers, so these policies are ONLY within the mod team and any official groups. While we do encourage to follow these rules as well, this is not a PSA and instead an overview of Moderation Protocols.

1. The Technical Stuff
There are a few key things we use round the clock, that are basic necessities for official posts to be released. They must;
• not have run on sentences
• not have big paragraphs, that drag on
• be organized, cohesive, and understandable
• not have flashing imagery that could possibly induce seizures
• have colors that do not hide fonts
2. Posts
Some dyslexic people have trouble reading big bodies of text, that are either run on thoughts with little to no breaks, or are paragraphs that have too much information jumbled into one paragraph. We do our best to limit these as much as possible, so people are able to understand what we are trying to announce to them.

Fonts and colors are also a big issue. When we make official posts, we always make sure that the Title of the post and the title in the cover image match. That way, if a more odd font was used for the cover image, one or the other will be able to be read. We also don't lay dark text over a dark background, or light text over a light background. There have been times where I'm constantly changing the font color because I'm trying to make sure it's as visible as possible. This also goes for blog backgrounds - we try our best to make sure the font is visible on whatever blog background is used. This is why we barely ever use photo backgrounds for official posts and only solid colors.

3. Messages
We have many kinds of messages that are sent on MA. Disabling messages, messages by the Crediting Team, and messages by the Welcoming Team.
Disabling Messages
Our disabling messages don't use any fonts at all. We stick with the basic font amino gives us. There is some differentiation of formating between different of the mod team, some being overtly simple and others having information a bit more cut up. Here are two examples.

Team Messages
Our Crediting and Welcoming Messages are where some things can get a bit more tricky. In the past they have had full reign of what they look like, but the Welcoming Team recently made some changes that have since been extended to the Crediting Team so we're as consistent as possible.
Our Team Messages have to meet a few key requirements. Along with our basic rules on formatting, organizing information, etc, the one we stress the most is fonts. Here is our basic list of fonts that are banned from posts/messages or ones we are allowed to use.

Here is also an example of what that looks like in action, from both WT and CT.
