To My Younger Self.

Dear journal,

Hello, dear Erwin. I read upon your journal and came across the letter you delivered to me when you were young. I am doing well, yes, and I am also a commander who gives orders to warriors. Are you proud of me, little one? I have tried my best and hardest to achieve my dreams, but I am unable to reach one of them just yet.

One of my dreams it to find inside of a basement. You may think it’s crazy but believe me, it’s mysterious. There aren’t aliens invading but there sure are monsters…titans, is what we call them. They eat innocent humans and rip their skin away from their bones, including young children. It’s horrific and the sights are gruesome to the core.

I’m glad you are living your best life with not a mass amount of worries in your life, and I hope that you continued to grow like that until who you are today…who I am today. I really would like for you to be proud of me, for the choices I have made, the people I have met, and the man I have now became. Are you?
