Small Hamster Haul

Keep’n this introduction brief! I was able to

splurge on the hamsters to a small extent,

this week, and I figured it’d be interesting

share.

𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚜

I purchased two, flat,    wooden platforms

from NiteAngel, off of Amazon, for Maple

and Tofu. One to   Maple’s wheel

and the other, for Tofu’s ceramics. I initially

bought    platforms   from    Doolapet, and

“Anti-Slide”   platforms     from   NiteAngel,

which   serve that   purpose. However, I’m

not   satisfied    with the   height of the silts,

considering that they are 5 inches. Whilst

Maple’s    and   Tofu’s   bedding    height   is

roughly 8-10 inches;   making them hardly

noticeable.

I love both the length and height, as well as

the sturdiness of the material, and neutral

color of   this product.   The   price   is $2

cheaper   than. it    was previously added,

too,   so I was especially excited to get my

hands on it!

𝚂𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚝𝚜

I bought stilts for Maple’s multi-chamber

hide-out, because it tends to slant within

the    bedding       when        she     burrows

underneath. They’re a height of 4 inches,

but the hide-out is rather bulky and tall.

Thus, I don’t see it as a problem!

𝚂𝚊𝚗𝚍-𝚋𝚊𝚝𝚑

Maple adores sand. So much so, that she

utilizes   it for her love to   cause disarray,

and    as   a    restroom. I   went   through a

number of dishes of my own for her, but

they were   rather too small to a

large quantity of sand.   Nonetheless, this

sand-bath from NiteAngel is worth every

penny, for Maple and I. It’s enormous! I like

the simplicity in it’s design, and the size.

Hopefully, this full-fills her needs.

𝙲𝚘𝚌𝚘 𝙿𝚎𝚊𝚝

I had been eager to   re-purchase   Coco

Peat, for   some time now. I was wasteful

with the last bag in the beginning, with

Tofu. And now, I have more than enough

to    provide    a     new   texture,   for   both

hamsters! I also want to   mention that the

quantity of   this purchase for Coco Peat

was significantly more, than the last, to my

surprise!

𝚃𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚜

I love   having an abundance   of treats to

offer   for the   hamsters! I think   having a

variety   is     important,   as    it    excitingly

provides a   new taste   and smell. I bought

dried banana chips, from Small Pet Select,

off of Amazon, and   heart shaped cookies

from       a        shop      on       Etsy,     called

PastriesForPouches. Both are inexpensive

and neatly packaged.
