I really don't know where to start..... There is literally no adjective to describe Hwitaek's voice. It's actually impossible. I'm honestly lost for words. This is just my opinion but for me he definitely is as good as some other kpop idols who are well known for their vocals, but what's really sad about it, is that he just doesn't get the attention for his voice that he deserves, but I am pretty sure if more people would know Pentagon, they would talk about Hwitaek more and he would definitely get the same attention such as other artists who are more famous. Anyways I'll talk about more positive things now. He has definitely one of the best vocals in kpop and I love his voice so much. To be honest I could recognize his voice immediately because the sound of his voice stood out to me the most. :joy: Also can we talk about his range?! It's incredible!!! I already know what an amazing singer Hwitaek is, but everytime he hits a high note or sings in falsetto, I am literally shocked. I still can't get over the high note in Basquiat. He sang it even better live?!? How is that even possible? In that moment I literally forgot how to breath. Another amazing thing is that he has always been an amazing singer. I haven't watched Pentagon maker yet, but I have seen some clips and holy sh*t. He hit those high notes like a king and he hadn't even debuted yet?! I also love how his voice can sound really soothing but also really strong. I honestly could write a whole novel about his voice ajshhs, so I'll stop now. Lastly I just wanna say that if you don't stan Pentagon yet, please check them out, it's really worth it. :pray: :heart:

First of all: YANAN IS FINALLY BACK. I'm so happy especially because I feel like I know literally nothing about him since I became a universe when he was still on hiatus and now I am really looking forward to get to know him better and of course listening to his voice again. Sooo talking about his voice, I have to it that I just really, really love the sound of his voice. I don't know what exactly it is, I just really love it :joy: . I also think he should be more appreciated for his voice, not only because of the sound of it but also because of his skills. I really wish he would get a little bit more lines, but maybe it just seems like that because we just haven't heard his voice for a while now :joy: . Anyways his vocals are amazing and to be honest because I haven't listened to Pentagon's old songs as much as their newer ones, I can't talk a lot about Yanan's voice and I am really sorry for that. However I have seen one clip of Pentagon maker where he sings and damn!!! He popped off!!! I was literally speechless because it just sounded so damn good and I am lost for words again but it just sounded so incredibly amazing and that was just pre-debut?! Also when he sings high notes or falsettos, it just takes away your breath. I am really happy that he is back and we'll get to see him and listen to his voice more often now :heart_eyes: . Sooo please Pentagon in their next comeback. :pray: :heart:

To be honest it took me some time to recognize Hongseok's voice and now I don't understand how I didn't recognize it immediately. His voice is so beautiful! Again I am lost for words to describe how beautiful his voice his. There is something about the sound of his voice that I love a lot and I think it's one of my favourites. Now I just always recognize his voice. When I was watching the web-drama twenty-twenty and the OST wasn't published yet, I was pretty sure that it was Pentagon because I recognized Hongseok's voice immediately :joy: . I also wish that more people would talk about his vocals. He said he doesn't feel comfortable singing with Hwitaek and Jinho, but damn when he sings he could easily be one of the main vocals. HE EVEN SANG THE ICONIC YUTODAAAAAA IN FANTAYSTIC FLAWLESSLY!!!!! To be honest I was quite shocked that he is such an amazing singer, because I honestly didn't expect that. I can't describe how much I love his voice. When I listened to his covers the first time I was so impressed, because his vocals are incredibly amazing. He is so talented. So I beg you, please appreciate Hongseok's vocals more. Thank you! :pray: :heart:

I don't know why, but I feel like in every group there is always at least one member who just doesn't get enough love and isn't appreciated enough. I feel like in Pentagon it's Shinwon. He definitely doesn't get enough lines and I won't complain about it because I don't know if it's his own choice or not, but I have to it.... I love Shinwon's voice. There is something about the sound of his voice that I really like. I would say he has more of a deep voice and it's kinda like raspy? I'm sorry, I really try my best at describing, but if you still don't know what I mean, just check out some Pentagon songs :relieved: 🤭. I sometimes still struggle to recognize his voice (probably just because he sometimes literally has no lines), but I one time I was listening to a Pentagon song and there was one voice that I really loved but I couldn't say which member it was. It was Shinwon. I saw a comment somewhere that during the Basquiat live performance something was wrong with his earpieces, but despite that, he managed to sing live flawlessly. He indeed is a talented guy with an amazing voice. I feel like, people don't talk about his vocals at all, so I really hope this changes in the future and Shinwon's vocals will be loved and appreciated more. :pray: :heart:

I miss Jinho and his beautiful voice so much :sob: . In my opinion Jinho as well as Hwitaek can be called vocal king. His covers are so beautiful and again it's so hard to describe his voice. I'm just lost for words. The way he sings falsettos and high notes so flawlessly and easy is just phenomenal. Just like with Hwitaek he has always been this amazing at singing, but what's actually most surprising is that even though he is really tiny, his vocals are soooo big. Moreover I think most of the time his voice sounds really clear which is sooo beautiful, but sometimes his voice even sounds kinda raspy and that's just incredible. At first you are really shocked that he has such an amazing voice but then you are even more surprised that his voice is so strong! How can he have such amazing vocals?! He is indeed a gifted person. I really wish more people would watch and talk about his covers as well as his vocals. Jinho even managed to sing the iconic yutodaaaa acapella even without warming up his voice (It was on "Who is who"). Seriously is there anything that can describe how amazing and incredible his voice is? I don't think so. I really wanna write more but I just can't find the right words. I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I've always hesitated to write a section about Chunggu just because I feel like I don't really know a lot about him. I actually don't know why. Anyways I have never really recognized his voice and but yesterday I listened to a song by Pentagon and I finally recognized his voice!!!! It may sound really weird but then I kind of realized how beautiful his voice is. I have always liked his voice, but I just got more aware of it and now I can finally recognize it and I am so happy about it :joy: :heart_eyes: . I think the best way to describe Changgu's voice is, it is like a hot chocolate on a cold winter day. It's so calming, soothing and I can't put it into words but you just wanna take a bath in his voice. I hope this doesn't sound cringe, I just can't find another way to describe it :joy: . It's such a voice you can always listen to, but especially when you are tired after a stressful day and then you listen to his voice and you just feel at home and really you can calm down. Also I wanna mention that I wish more people would talk about his beautiful voice. Please appreciate Chunggu and his vocals more. :pray: :heart:

I feel like people don't talk about Pentagon's vocals (and Pentagon in general enough)enough, but they just ignore Pentagon's rap line even more. I barely see anyone talking about them. To be honest I have never been a huge fan of rap, but there are some groups (Pentagon included) that made me like rap. I actually don't really like listening to songs without any vocals in it, but somehow Pentagon's rap line manages to make the songs so incredible that I like them a lot. Now to Wooseok's voice. I can say without any doubt that Wooseok is definitely one of my favourite rappers and in my opinion he is also one of the best. The sound of his voice is so unique and how he uses his voice is incredible. I think the really proved it during the performances on Road To Kingdom. I really love his voice and the way he raps is really unique and I am here for it. I think it's not everyone's style but I LOVE IT. Wooseok really made me enjoy rap and I am really thankful for that. It's actually incredible how he as well as Yuto made me like rap just by the sound of their voices and their rap style. So I hope you can check out Pentagon's rap line and appreciate them more. :pray: :heart:

So just like Wooseok he is one of the reasons why I really enjoy rap now. Basically everything I have already said about Wooseok applies to Yuto as well :joy: . His voice is just so unique and his rap style is *chef's kiss*. I really wish, more people would talk about Pentagon's rap line. I am not lying when I say that Yuto is as well as Wooseok one of my favourite rappers. I honestly don't understand why there are still so many people sleeping on Pentagon's rap line and of course Pentagon's vocals and Pentagon themselves. I'm just really sad that Pentagon isn't appreciated enough. Okay now some positive vibes again :smile: . Ohhhh and of course I LIVE FOR HIS YUTODAS. One of Pentagon's best decisions :joy: . Also his voice has a deep touch which I really, really like. Just everything about his rap is perfect. Again I suck at describing but I hope you got curious about how his voice sounds and you can check out some songs of Pentagon. :pray: :heart:

Although I wasn’t supposed to participate in this months blog due to me being on a small break ,,, I noticed that no one had chosen to talk about Kino’s voice yet :0 For those of you who don’t know yet… Kino is one of my ultimate biases, and he is one for VERY good reasons. I couldn’t help, but to participate for this blog due to the fact that we’re appreciating their voices :cherry_blossom: :dizzy: If I had to describe Hyunggu’s voice is in two words, I think I’d pick captivating and seducing. I don’t know too much about singing and musical , but I’m gonna try my best to describe and appreciate his absolutely :sparkles: b e a u t i f u l :sparkles: voice,,, lessgo!~ 🦋 :cherry_blossom: :star2:

First of all, I would say that Kino has a more sentimental and “breathy” and “airy” voice rather than a strong and powerful one¿? If you’ve ever felt like an idol lacked emotions while singing, you’ll definitely never feel that way while listening to Kino :notes: In the previous paragraph I mentioned that I would use the two words “captivating” and “seducing” to describe Kino’s voice/vocals. I’m just gonna go ahead and write a S H O R T section for each of those words and explain why I chose that word, since I think that’ll be easier for me :)

Captivating

Every time I listen to Hyunggu, it’s almost like I’m being hypnotized by his voice… his vocals are enchanting and breathtaking. I forget how to breathe. I forget how to think. All I can do is to feel all the strong emotions rising through my body while being mesmerized by his heavenly voice. Kino’s vocals will make you keep wanting more, you don’t want him to stop talking or singing. His voice is so captivating to the point that you’ll get dragged into this never ending loop of being obsessed with his voice/vocals. You end up never getting enough. You end up wanting more…and more… 🌙

Seducing

I was originally gonna write “sexy”, but I thought “seducing” would be better as it somehow sounds more “professional”, no? sjjsj~ I already mentioned how Kino has a more of a “breathy” singing technique. This does not only cause his vocals to become more sentimental, but also seducing :0 You’ll get goosebumps. You’ll get shivers down along your spine. You’ll get addicted. Like the way he said “let’s kill this love” is just *chefs kiss* :kiss: also his parts in Dr. Bebe is just ahhh- (intro, 0:54, 1:47) also his falsetto is the definition of sexiness, like literally- :flushed: he also knows how to control his breath quite well, while adding this slight vibrato or singing a lil bit raspier on a certain part… which basically makes him sound even more seducing and attractive- I recommend watching him perform dance while he’s also singing huehue~ 👁 :lips: 👁
