Does peanut butter cotton candy even exist?
FOR THE #AnswerChal have a Spinut fusion
Peanut Wood belongs to WQ

Story:
"How does it feel to fuse?"
She had asked the question casually, as if she was just relaying the daily report. Truth be told, she had been contemplating asking this very question for quite some time. She just never knew how to phrase it nor who to ask. She had first thought to ask her superior Onyx, who was more open to the idea of fusion than the average Quartz. However, she knew asking Onyx would arouse suspicion and probably not give her the answer she was looking for. So instead, she turned to Onyx's right hand, Howlite.
"Fusion? Umm you know it feels like fusing," Howlite responded ,"Why do you want to know anyway, Spinel?"
"I'm curious, nothing more. I would just like to know why this fusion act isn't encouraged if it can apparently be a viable weapon," Spinel replied calmly. Howlite quickly scanned their surroundings and leaned in close.
"It feels like...well it feels strange. I've only fused with Onyx and it felt incredible—I mean," Howlite sputtered momentarily. Spinel could see her cheeks begin to color a darker shade of grey. This is what she wanted to know. She knew that if she went to Onyx with this kind of question she would receive a technical answer or a vague dismissal, but Howlite's romantic feelings for Onyx were clear and her answer would be rather different. A good different.
"What do you mean by strange?"
"It feels...like I'm part of her, really part of her. I can feel her presence all around me and," Howlite paused and smiled ,"when we're fused it feels like we're not two gems but one. Like we're together, I feel safe and...it feels nice."
Spinel watched her friend and thought long and hard about her answer. Ultimately it only served to cement her decision, her decision to attempt fusion. Which brought her here to this exact spot. Spinel had been waiting for one particular gem to show up for a while now. Through the corner of her eye she saw her, Peanut Wood.
Peanut Wood was a gem not of her own court, but Yellow Diamond's. It was for this reason that she knew attempting fusion would be especially dangerous. Despite that, Spinel would not let go of the idea. In all honesty she had become infatuated with the gem rather quickly, every since Onyx employed her to assist with a few missions that involved a planet that both White Diamond and Yellow Diamond were interested in. Peanut was often tasked to write-up the reports that Spinel's team made, so they frequently saw and exchanged words with each other. However, after Onyx competed the missions, Peanut was left to return back to her Diopside and away from Spinel. Life resumed as usual but Spinel could not forget the gem. She followed her and ired her from afar, occasionally gathering the nerve to make casual conversation. She observed her whenever she could, memorizing her routines and through these memories Spinel knew that Peanut would show her face in the spot she was standing in at any moment.
Peanut made her way to the open area and sat down. She was waiting at a small hill, it was the only hill where the stars were clearly visible from all directions. She liked this place because there was a path leading up to the hill where she would walk on and think about her day. It calmed her, to just walk around and look at the stars. She stood up and began to look for the walkway when she noticed a gem staring at her.
Spinel caught Peanut's sight and made her way over to her. Peanut was no longer surprised to see her around, she would often see Spinel by this time and chalked it up to coincidence instead of stalking.
"Hello Spinel, how are you?"
Spinel ignored Peanut's question, not to be rude but because she was sure she would back out of asking her own question if she did not ask it immediately.
"Peanut I've been thinking of something," Spinel finally said. She took Peanut by the hand, making a mental note about how soft and warm they felt against her own. Peanut glanced at their ed hands breifly before looking back at Spinel, waiting for her to continue. Spinel looked at Peanut's face and was swarmed with nerves, she couldn't do this. It was an insane question. They could both be broken if they were caught. Besides there was no proper way to phrase something like that, not even to Peanut whose kind nature would most likely have her go along with Spinel's whims. Spinel swallowed, attempting to rid herself of her nerves ,"walk with me?"
Peanut nodded and followed Spinel down the winding pathway, they're hands still locked. Truth be told, she had grown quite fond of Spinel's company. Spinel was always so nice to her and seemed to be ever so interested in everything she did and had to say. Spinel stopped at the pristine white gazebo located at the start of the walkway.
"I was thinking of something, I haven't been able to get the thought out of my mind," Spinel started, staring down at their interlocked fingers in order to not meet Peanut's gaze.
"You mentioned that," Peanut interjected. She didn't mean to sound rude, she was actually rather curious as to what Spinel was thinking about.
"I was thinking of doing something...with you. I wanted to know if you would like to f—," Spinel stopped and finally met Peanut's eyes. Noticing her confused expression, Spinel extended her free hand and quickly rephrased her question, "would you like to dance with me?"
"Dance?" Peanut blinked and stared at the hand being offered to her. After a moment's hesitation she took Spinel's hand and nodded.
Spinel took a breath and the two began to dance beneath the stars. The dance was awkward at first, but nonetheless they continued until they were more or less moving in sync. It was a combination of awkward missteps and shy laughter, however, when their faces were both just inches away from each other Spinel dared to ask her real question.
"Peanut?"
"Yes, Spinel."
Spinel took Peanut's hand, the one on her shoulder, and guided it to her throat where her gem was located. Spinel took her own hand and gently held the side of Peanut's face. She looked down at Peanut's lips, so close and inviting, before looking back up to meet her gaze ,"would you fuse with me?"
Peanut did not respond immediately. She relayed the question in her head a few times before leaning into Spinel's touch. Spinel's touch was always so gentle and that warm look she gave her was reserved for her and her alone. Peanut looked briefly at Spinel's gem, at Spinel and then at the stars beyond her. The stars that made Peanut feel so small in comparison.
She noticed a glimmer of sadness in Spinel's eyes, eyes that once held such warmth, and ed she had not yet given her an answer. She cradled Spinel's gem and wrapped an arm around her before ing their lips together, allowing Spinel access to her own gem. It was with that kiss that she was engulfed by not just warmth, but light.
There was a flash and only one being emerged from the light. Who they were had disappeared, as if the two gems had seized to exist.
'No that's not it,' the being thought to herself.
They did exist and they were together.

This is really good what fusion is this
The fusion doesn't have a name yet, she's supposed to be a first time fusion like cotton candy garnet. That's what the challenge asked for us to make so I changed her design a bit
Good job
That's skill. Congrats on the feature!
