➥ he’s a small, middle aged man. his hair is shorter on the left, having a cowlick into his layered bangs. the right side has a long braid that falls to his stomach. he has worn, callused hands. his eyes are a bright, kind blue. he’s muscular, more too heavy, and is missing his right leg from the knee down. he wears traditional clothes when crafting, but can be seen in a white tank on hot days.

𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘

➥ nao is the respectful, kind type. he is always doing what he can for others, especially his family. due to his truthfulness and kindness he is respected well in his community, and always stays by his word. he leads with honor, and stays calm mainly. he is slow to anger and is quick to do the kind, right thing, even if it is difficult.

𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘

➥ nao had never been a strong or resourceful sorcerer. he never had the full potential of his power in his teen years, but was attracted to those with it. he wanted to see someone with pure talent flourish, and so he found that in his first wife, sasha. she was a strong grade one when they were in highschool, and her pure confidence, power, and height intrigued him. his kind and respectful manor drew her in, and after 3 years of dating in highschool, they married. two years later, they had ima. however, the duo was sent on a mission when their child had turned 10, and during the fight sasha was lost. her returned to his young daughter in disbelief.

he took on smaller, better jobs. he was a great cursed tool , but was never exceptionally strong like the rest. after a training class he met a strong, tall, confident woman, himari. she was like the wife he had lost, but warmer and tougher. she also towered above him, and after he itted his feelings, they dated. it was hard for ima and him not to continue to mourn sasha, but eventually they wed. soon, she had a daughter with him, yuka. after that, they had 6 more children.

money got tight, so the couple began taking on missions together. eventually, tragedy struck and left the children motherless, and nao without half of his leg. the death took place in front of ima, yuka and nao. they never truly got over it.

nao took this as a sign to retire, and became his breaking point. the grief ran through him, and he couldn’t handle what it had done to his family once again. he took his children to a craft space in the mountains, where he now makes cursed tools to keep money flow, and to keep his children safe from more disaster.

𝐉𝐔𝐉𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐔

➥ boomerang

𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 & 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐒

➥ boomerang has a very basic explanation. he only has the ability to push cursed energy away or pull it forward. untrained, the technique is generally very dangerous or unhelpful. in his prime, nao became a prime of cursed tools to compliment his technique, drawing his tools to his side by identifying them from their energies respectively, or pushing away sorcerers or curses from what energy they emit, and for curses and tools, are made of.

➥ the more cursed energy an object is imbued with or produces, the bigger or quicker the push or pull is. however, if a sorcerer is able to diminish their output they can by his technique. he mainly uses it in offense rather than defense, and now with being retired, focuses it into his craft.

➥ he has learned if he pushes his own cursed energy into an object while trying to pull it back, he can imbue an object with the energy if it’s in the middle of the forces. however, this is exceedingly dangerous and difficult. if he pulls with too much force, it can impale him, and if he pushes too hard it could rip through his limbs. the craft has been expertly mastered, and requires his full concentration. he crafts the metalwork by hand as well, allowing his family to flourish in the cursed tool market.

𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

➥ an armada of hand made cursed tools, his favorite being a welding hammer he imbued with his own cursed energy

➥ he has 8 kids total, 1 from his first wife and the rest from the second.

➥ he never got a prosthetic leg, only a crutch.

➥ he never mentions his first wife to anyone but ima. his other children think she is their full sister.
