Aragus's hair is long, grown down past his shoulders, and separated in rope-like strands. He almost never wears his hair up.

Eyes.

His eyes appear cast in shadow whereas his golden-colored irises reflect even the smallest light, giving the illusion that they're glowing. Despite the scar beneath his left eye, Aragus has perfect vision.

Scars.

As a gladiator, Aragus would have a multitude of scars, but the most noticeable is a golden lightning pattern beneath his left eye.

Aragus met Circe on the island of Aeaea. This happens closely after Odysseus had already left, so the idea of granting mercy is fresh in her mind. Aragus seeks refuge in her palace after running from his homeland, and she welcomes the man inside as she does all others. (If presented with cursed food, Aragus' patron will warn him.)

Aragus remains on Aeaea for longer than he had expected himself. The mortal and goddess grew closer, but as Aragus considered spending his mortal life with Circe, his patron pulled him away. He was not allowed this closeness. This powerless life, always swooning over a goddess and watching over her nymphs as if children. The idea of this domestic life enraged his patron, and for fear of bringing danger to Circe or her nymphs, he left.

Aragus actually met Antinous way before he became an Ithaca royal guard. The two met on Aragus' homeland when Aragus was only a salve boy and Antinous the daughter of a nobleman. Despite their different social statuses, the two became close friends. Until one day a lifechanging event affected Aragus so deeply that he pushed away everyone he knew. The kingdom later collasped.

Years ed when Aragus found himself on Ithaca's shores. His combat abilities and fierce loyalty had proven him to be a formidable ally, earning his place as guard within the palace—which had already been run with suitors, and the king yet to return home. He didn't recognize his old friend at first. During a typical tussle between suitor and guard, something clicked.
