for this challenge I've decided to make a time capsule for the future me. Tbh from the fifth grade I was planning on making a time capsule but I kept on procrastinating this :sob: . I planned this while I watched an episode of my favorite cartoon of that time, doraemon. I even planned on putting the capsule inside the ground and opening it when I'm old but I didn't have that many resources to conduct this act.

well my time capsule isnt that fancy but surely i tried my best. I used the minimal and normal resources to make one for myself. If I made one for me so can you, put your memories inside a box and open it once you're old, isnt that fascinating? Ngl but storing memories is a dun activity yet a hobby for me. Either it be writing diaries, clicking pictures or even storing something in a time capsule. Let's see how I made it, step by step ~

the covering part isn't that clear enough so please excuse♡

steps for making the time capsule ~

STEP 1 :: cover the box with the brown paper to make it evenly, use fevicol to paste the brown sheet or any other material of your choice.

STEP 2 :: decorate the time capsule with a heading, put your creativity in it, do calligraphy ~

STEP 3 :: if any leftover paper is there use it for minimal decoration (just like how I made the hearts).

that's all isn't this easy !

well, to keep the time capsule as minimal and simple, I decided to put something special (at least for me). I prefer quality over quantity, so put minimal items which play a huge role in your life.

this is what I decided to keep inside my time capsule.

the reason behind keeping only THESE stuff is very vivid

the bottle you see in the above picture is given by my mom on my 18th birthday along with a mug and a cushion. I'm already using the cushion and the mug hence i decided not to keep them but on the other hand I've never used this bottle till yet cause I was afraid of it being corroded. I added my bracelet in the capsule which I buyed with my very first earning when I was in 9th grade. The postcards gifted by my bestie on my 18th birthday, my hand and the foot print, the Keychain which my friend broke :sob: (it was an accident) and of course a letter to my future self. I'll be 21 in 2025, I'll have to deal with various responsibilities and trust me I'm not at all ready for it.

so I tried to keep everything simple by piling everything one by one, as you can see in the above image. But before keeping them one by one I decided to put the gift wrapper to keep it safe/decorated, ig ??? I don't really know the main reason behind it so ignore !! maybe it does look more flashy when i kept the gift wrapper first?!
