Ok...ok...ok... this might not even be true but just hear me out ok. So, we all know how avocato died in episode six due to the explosion
And if you still don't think he is dead after that well. Know that there is no air in space so he would not be able to breath anyway. But enough
Of trying not to cry, in episode three we see avocato and gary going to hide mooncake to keep him safe but when they arrive STEVIL see mooncake captures him and puts avocato and gary in the Lazarus trap. Ok stay with me. so the lord commander on his ship suffocates ERIC because of a biscuit not being small enough (really dude) then heads to yarno where mooncake is. mooncake then escapes or blows a hole in the cell he is in the takes part in deathcropolis. Then at the final sacrafice the lord commander comes in and we see he has ERICs body. Ok note that, that's important to know because ERIC is clearly dead.
Now in episode five the lord commanders hologram appears telling then to keep it up (good job jeff) but at the end he asks ERIC..... ERIC the guy we say dead. So unless he has another ERIC which i can't conform he must of saved ERIC or heal him or do something to bring him back I don't know what he did but it must have been bad hearing that ERIC is crying for some reason.
So you probably already understand where I'm going with this and if not let me tell you
If the lord commander killed eric and and brought him back then the same could happen to AVOCATO. He just might be very well alive. But there might be a catch. You see eric died of suffocation so two episodes for him to come back, so avocato died of huge explosion, that's going to take a long time or season 2
But yeah that's why i think avocato might come back in season two of final space or i might just be completely wrong..... but who knows

Wow I never actually thought of that! Honestly that is a really good theory!
I do Coty mentioning that his role as voicing Avocato was finished and Avocato was confirmed to be dead. Olan also said that everything the characters do have consequences (his example was when Gary lost his arm, he didn’t just get another flesh arm. That flesh arm is gone for good), so if it’s irreversible, then there’s a low chance that Avo will return.
Now, everybody brings up time travel every time I say something like this, and I acknowledge that as a possibility. However, Cato had the same idea and already tried out time travel, and we all saw how that turned out. The show has acknowledged that the time travel option is there, but the failure of the characters being able to use it makes me think that option may be debunked as well.
OOF I never actually noticed what you pointed out with Eric there. That’s really interesting. Guess I wasn’t paying enough attention to notice it when I watched the show XD
