hello, hello, and welcome~!

the name’s garde, and welcome to another writing post.

aye aye, and salutations! welcome to chapter four of my writing series, silver moonlight. first off i’d like to thank you all for the i’m getting for this series, you’re really inspiring to try more and work harder on my writing^^

the room was impressive.

towering crystals in glowing pink, purple, and white hues grew around the pristine marble columns. the furniture was made of the rarest pale wood, complimenting the pastel pink walls. and the tapestries~ depicting jamaa in its highest glory, made of nothing but the finest silk.

sitting at the desk, leaning over a canvas, was the alpha of the bunnies. peck.

“come in, princess. or, should i say, queen.” peck glanced over her shoulder, smiling.

analese managed a small smile as she walked in. “yeah, about that.. i was wondering if you would help me. my parents..”

“i heard.” peck smiled sympathetically. “of course i’ll help you, analese. i promise. i always have, and i always will. but what might i do to help?”

the queen drew in a breath. “teach me how to fight~ with art.”

peck exhaled. “how did you find out?”

“celaena told me.” upon reading the puzzled look on peck’s face, analese sat down. “this’ll be a long story.”

“a child of mira is still alive?” peck shook her head. “i never would’ve~ anyways. yes, i’ll teach you. but you must promise to never tell anyone, besides celaena, about this. i stopped teaching for a good reason. the power was misused.”

“a few generations after lysandra, one of her descendants shared the power with her friends. one of those friends taught another of their friends, who used it for the wrong purposes. thievery. it even got to murder.”

“after that, i stopped teaching the royalty, and anyone, really. however, i’m willing to try again. if this knowledge is misused, it will be your problem, and i won’t step in to help. understand?”

analese gulped. “yes. i understand.”

“good.”

peck reached into one of her desk’s drawers, and pulled out a plethora of art materials. “let’s begin.”

over the next couple of weeks, analese made daily visits to the alpha headquarters to train with peck. whenever she wasn’t learning, she practiced until she collapsed. from painting to sculpting, she learned to turn any form of art into a weapon.

her favorite? something she’d designed herself, called a “lightseed.”

a month after her initial lesson, the queen stepped into peck’s training room, ready to present the lightseed.

“come in, queen.” peck smiled. the usual greeting.

“have you finished the task?”

analese exhaled and placed the lightseed on the table. “here.”

the alpha studied it. “interesting. what’s it named? what’s it made out of? and most importantly, what does it do?”

“i call it a lightseed. it’s made out of white glitter glue, instilled with mira’s light power. if made correctly..”

analese narrowed her eyes, zeroing in on a phantom dummy across the room. she reared back her paw, and threw with all her might.

the lightseed sailed through the air, and landed right in the middle of the dummy.

it exploded in a shower of glitter, and when the glitter receded~ nothing. nothing remained.

the queen gulped. “i hope it’s alright. it works on any phantom-related thing~ phantoms, phantom webs, et cetera. they’re completely harmless against anything else.”

peck stared. “that’s.. amazing. you’re truly a natural.”

“i think you’ve learned enough. it’s time to stop pandora and get your parents back.”
