History of Sevelence: Flizlings

Origin

Flizings were once like you and I, regular humans, nothing special. It all changed, however, when the marks appeared. Certain Vashan desired to go beyond the limits of their powers, and they did, but at a cost... Their humanity was stripped from them, giving way to what they called their "true nature" A twisted form of their previous self taken over by their marks. And so, the Flizlings were created.

Culture

Flizling culture is one of distaste and distrust. They seperate themselves from everyone else, even going so far as to built their cities and weapons specifically tailored to them and no one else. Their goal is to seperate themselves entirely from the other races. Their capital is a testiment to this culture, built out of the remains of other races' ships that the Flizlings sunk.

Government

The Flizling government is much different than the other races, consisting of thousands of different groups, each with their own leader, and each with their own rules and laws. These groups mostly ignore eachother, occasionally getting into fights or ing together. The only time allthe groups get together is under command of the supreme lord. The leader of Trefil, the capital. Under their command, the Flizlings could become the most formidable foe in all of Sevelence. Thankfully, Trefil has had no such ruler for a long, long, long time.

Cities

To match their horder nature, Flizling cities are very cluttered. Houses stacked up to the sky, often even leaning on other houses for . There is no quite order to them, making it basically impossible to navigate unless you're a Flizling. The aforementioned city of Trefil is the most complex of them all, basically an entire city built on and around a huge boat. The Flizlings expanded the city by sinking and boats that came near it and re building them as part of the city.
