Name/Gem: Hydroxylherderite (yes, that’s an actual mineral, but we can call her Hydroxy for short if ya want)
Going for: Galaxite
Wiki/description: She’s pretty nerdy, and can usually be found reading a book. Her task is to keep track of historical events that involve the Diamond Authority in any way, shape, or form, and also to note what resources make certain gems and stuff like that. Basically, she’s a huge nerd. She’s usually pretty quiet and tries to keep to herself, but she ires strong gems and wishes she was more like them. She’s absolutely useless in a physical fight and crumbles under criticism, but still tries to keep a positive opinion of herself. She wants to break out of her shell and try new things, but never works up the courage to do so.
Why do they go well together?: Galaxite used to be a soldier, right? So that means he must be pretty strong, yeah? Well, that’s the sort of gem Hydroxy’s after! She loves soldier gems and secretly ires them. Considering how good of a warrior he was, she’d probably gush over all his victories and fangirl about him, since she probably heard quite a bit about him due to her job as a historian. It also seems like he likes to read, which is something Hydroxy does a LOT. I can just imagine the two of them sitting together reading the same book… and then discussing it! Two little bookworms just hanging out!
Anything extra?: Hydroxy can’t see a thing without her glasses. Take them away, and she’ll be stumbling around the room completely blind. Good way to mess with her, if Galaxite is that kind of guy.

Why do they go well together?: this might take a long time to type but here we go!
1. From the start, you've stated she seeks big gems; Ametrine is 9'2", almost twice as big as Chaorite.
2. She is just the patient gem Chaorite seems to be looking for. Not infinitely patient but mellow, and whatever insult Chaorite dishes, Ametrine can take it without getting genuinely upset.
3. Ametrine is slightly defective. She, instead of a purposely made Ametrine, is an accidental mix between a Citrine and an Amethyst. I think it would be a really rich point of contention when Chaorite found out this gem she had been slowly falling in love with was slightly wrong but was able to look past it. :sparkles: character development :sparkles: you gotta love it.
4. Ametrine really needs a new experience with love. As someone who has been through a bad, abusive relationship, just someone who will be with her in private and give her the time of day.
5. They're both purple!!! It would provide a good way for them to meet, if they were working together on something with Ametrine under her supervision on a mission or something.
