Many aren’t familiar with Boerboel’s so let me fill you in. They are a breed originating in Africa. And they are a proud and loyal working breed. And yours truly is fortunate to own one of these proud giants.

Saving Rhinos

Rhinos of all varieties are poached, often for their horns and other parts of their body so they can be used for traditional Asian medicines. These poor beautiful giants are being killed in such an alarming rate many fear that more rhino species will become extinct. Many are calling for action, some suggest removing the horns humanly so they won’t be targeted etc...

Now, what can Boerboel’s do?

Coming To The Rescue

Like I have previous stated Boerboel’s are a working breed, and they have a rich history as a farm dog.

However they are more than just a working dog, they are a protector and a defender. Which made them a perfect candidate to protect the existing rhinos. Boerboels are now being brought in as a protection measure against poaching, they are now part of a 24/7 dog security patrols that are being introduced at Rhino Revolution. They are now tracking poachers and protecting endangered species in Africa.

Not bad for a dog that is mostly banned in Europe
