Hello, it’s your friendly neighbourhood journalist curator Lotte, here with a new blog for this weeks #takeover. This week we have done some interviews around the community. You might have seen some of the journalist chat around to ask for people they can interview, well here are the results. I’ll be talking about people’s favourite idols. So let’s get going and see what people answered.

My idol's name is Misha Collins. He's an actor and activist for human rights.

He's my idol because he stands up against discrimination, homophobia and racism, openly talks about his sexuality and has organised a couple of great help organisations.

He's an inspiring person who came a long way, had a pretty tough past, and still is one of the most ing celebrities I ever saw.

I first came across him in one of my favourite shows, Supernatural. I started following him on social media and quickly realised how active and ive he is. Since then, I find myself following him more for his actions than for his role in the show.

If I met him, I'd probably be too shy to say a lot, but I'd tell him how much respect I have for him for being who he is and how far he has come. :)

Zach Burgett, aka Prismo, is my idol. His music is probably one of the reasons my life has changed so much. I listen to him on a daily basis. I can't get tired of his music. I've never heard anything like it before.

I discovered him maybe 5 years ago while he was only on Sound Cloud. The first song I ever heard of his was "Neverland."

I’m honestly not sure what I would say to him.. I doubt I'll ever meet him to be honest. I'll probably thank him for his creations, but who knows.

Markiplier, because he is that soft brother that will always take care of you, he is goofy and he will always help anyone in reach

I started scrolling through YouTube and found him randomly, ever since I can't stop smiling and being positive

I would tell him "you didn't only help me but you helped entire generation to have hope for the future"

Hayley Williams of Paramore. I listened to her songs when I was battling with depression and a lot of them resonated how I feel and helped me cope. She is the epitome of self-expression.Her vocal talent is unparalleled. She has such a kind aura and seems so humbled and She is also doing her best to the BLM movement and has many more funds to help/ those in need.

Unfortunately they aren't doing songs now but I'll tell them to make a new one for the younger generations to get through their tough times because their songs are great, lyrics wise and the beat too^^

Alright so this might sound a little dumb but my idol is a twitch streamer called CallMeCarson.

He's my idol because he was the first online personality that I've come across that just felt,,, real. Like, he's just a guy who happened to get popular. He has ups and downs just like any other person and the difference between him and any other creator he talks about it to his audience kind of like hes talking to a friend about it. And he makes sure his audience knows it's okay to feel down and fuck up sometimes and I really appreciate how wholesome it is.

I came across his youtube channel in 2017(I cant the month) but I thought he was really funny and so I instantly started tuning into his streams and he's been my idol ever since. It's been fun to watch him grow as a person, to watch him come over things and just be real with his audience while being funny at the same time.

If I got the chance to meet him I'd tell him how much I appreciate him as a person and I'd thank him for being a bro. Haha nothing too crazy ^^
