Any pair:

1. Muse A meets Muse B in the emergency room. Both are patients and conscious.

2. Muse A meets muse B at a mental hospital or rehab. Both are struggling through. Could start by one trying to earn good behavior points.

3. Muse A finds muse B taking flowers from their garden. Muse A decides muse B can keep the flowers on one condition; they tell them who the lucky person is.

Treebros (platonic):

1. Evan catches Connor being bullied and realizes why he is so harsh and defensive. He tries to help him.

2. Connor catches Evan being bullied and stands up for him.

3. Evan and Connor went to second grade together; but that is the extent of which they know each other. However, they both start their junior year of high school at a boarding school. Evan is there on scholarship, hoping the smaller student body wouldn’t be so hard on his anxiety. Connor is sent there by his parents in hopes that it will straighten him out. This starts platonic, but it can develop into other wise.

Conguel:

1. Meeting for the first time “cannonly” (at the boarding school).

2. Starts at the scene where Connor cannonly left, but Miguel doesn’t let him go so easily.

3. After not hearing from him for months, Miguel gets a call from Connor mid s*icide attempt. A last hope, if you will.

4. They meet uncannonly at rehab or in a mental health facility.

Murphy siblings:

1. Zoe has to pick Connor up from the emergency room because their parents are out of town. She is not happy with him or the situation.

2. Zoe catches Connor during an attempt and tries to talk him out of it, even though she doesn’t usually show she cares.

3. Connors therapist requests that Connor and Zoe have a family session without their parents.

4. Zoe catches Connor getting bullied and realizes why he is so rude and violent at school.

5. Connor stands up to someone bullying Zoe and Zoe realizes that Connor does actually care about her.

6. Zoe is left alone in Connor’s hospital room when he wakes up from an attempt.

Murphy siblings with age swap (Connor must be living on his own but that can be any age 16+ and Zoe is usually under 16. Most common combinations are Connor at 19+ and Zoe at 13 or Connor at 18-20 and Zoe at 8-10.):

1. Connor and Zoe grew up in an abusive household. Connor was able to escape it, but now he needs to help his baby sister. He needs to protect her.

2. Connor and Zoe grew up in a neglectful and/or verbally/mentally abusive household and Connor has offered for Zoe to live with him.

3. Cynthia and Larry have tragically ed away and Zoe has to go live with her brother. They can be close or still have an unstable relationship; play with this.

4. Connor got himself clean/sober and on track and is thriving in his own apartment. His therapist has suggested that he patch up relationships that were broken during his addiction. First on that list: Zoe.

Murphy Siblings with mutual young age (typically Connor 7-14 and Zoe 4-13):

1. Zoe and Connor are living in an abusive household and are just trying to survive.

2. Zoe and Connor are living in an abusive household and try to escape. Sometimes Heidi finds them on her way to work at the hospital and takes them with her. Interesting cross-over; one of my favorites.

3. S gets called on the Murphy household and the siblings have to navigate the foster system together.

4. Connor and Zoe are rather close, but Connor starts slipping away and isolating as his mental illness intensifies with age. Zoe has to try to figure this all out and maneuver it. This one can go a lot of different ways; up to you.

5. Connors first s*icide attempt, around age 14. Zoe finds him. She’d been mad at him for becoming so cold towards her, but now all she wants is for him to wake up.

Connor & Jax (OC: Character Page):

1. Connor goes to his dealer for his usual fix and noticed Jax in the background. He looks awful and Connor wants to help, but how? Is this even his business?

2. Connor and Jax used to hang out when they were younger because no one else would hang out with them at the park. Though, Connor sees Jax again when they are now in high school and he looks like he’s hanging onto life by a string.

Evan & Phoenix (OC: Character Page):

1. It is the first day of school and Evan sees Phoenix being bullied for his stutter. He tries his best to help.

2. With freshman jitters spiking his normal anxiety levels, Phoenix bumps into Evan and drops his books. He is embarrassed to talk to him because of his stutter, but they realize they have a few obvious things in common.

3. Phoenix and Evan both go to Zoe’s performance at the café. While Evan is talking to Zoe afterwords, Phoenix interrupts, asking Zoe all sorts of questions about music.
