➴Intelligent

There is nobody who’s meet Ikki who believes he’s dumb. He may make some questionable decisions, but it’s undeniable that he knows much more than your average high schooler. He is the second smartest person in his class, bested only by Daido. He uses his intelligence to cause trouble for his teachers, always making them doubt whether or not they’re correct.

➴High-Minded

Ikki has high expectations for both himself and others. He expects himself and his classmates to contribute their all, otherwise they’d be unfitting for the title of hero. This makes him a bit strict and uptight, but he does his best to push others to their limits, to ensure they achieve the best possible results. He’s been known to overwork himself.

➴Well Intentioned

Even if Ikki can come off as a pompous jerk, he sincerely doesn’t mean to. His blatant honesty is meant as a harsh truth to help others grow. While he has a vindictive streak, unless you’ve wronged him, he won’t approach you with bad intentions. Chances are, he wants to help, he just isn’t very tactful with his assistance.

Whenever there’s a chance, Ikki will take charge. He works extremely well under pressure, and is capable of having rational thought processes and decisions in a time of crisis. This leads him to take charge in group activities during class, and help keep order in times of chaos or crisis.

Once Ikki decides to do something, he commits. He doesn’t half-ass any of his work. Once he has a goal in mind, there’s nothing stopping him from finishing it. If you get in his way, you’re subjecting yourself to making an enemy of him. It’s impossible to predict what he might apply himself to.

Ikki isn’t planning to be a hero just to make it to the top fifty. Or the top 25. Or the top 10. He’s going for the number one spot. Ikki is willing to do almost anything to reach the top spot, and expects his classmates to compete against him for that spot.

Ikki completely disregards religion and politics when interacting with others. He may say or do something sacrilegous without batting an eyelash. More often than not, he knows he’s being disrespectful. He just doesn’t care. He sees customs as superficial restraints.

Ikki doesn’t get hurt by a lot, physically or emotionally. He’s very resilient, completely ignoring any pain he feels. It may be unhealthy, but he’ll deal with that when it’s relevant. He doesn’t want anything to distract him.

Ikki is confident in his ability to do anything. He thinks very highly of himself, but doesn’t necessarily see himself as leagues ahead of others. That being said, he is a braggart, and it’s not hard to send him on a monologue about his own abilities and achievements.

Since Ikki believes he can do anything, he charges into every situation head-first. He’s able to identify dangers and traps, but overestimates his ability to sur them. Luckily, nothing has landed him on deaths door yet, but it’s bound to happen.

➴Callous

Ikki isn’t one to sugar coat or beat around the bush. If he’s talking to you, he’ll say exactly what he means, with no room for misinterpretation. This also means he has a tendency to dole out harsh truths, insulting others by sharing his unwanted opinions and observations. Keep in mind, he probably just wants to help you improve.

Even if Ikki is nice to you, chances are it isn’t sincere. He’s not a big fan of interacting or relying on others, but recognizes the necessity of it in the long run. He’ll go out of his way to be kind to those he believes can be useful in the future, but he isn’t sincere.

If Ikki is wronged, he’ll do whatever it takes to get revenge. His intelligence and tunnel vision make him a formidable foe, and he doesn’t ever forgive and forget. He will make sure you pay an eye for an eye.

Ikki was born to a family with a total of eleven children. As the second youngest, he was often treated as a child. Even as he grew up, he was seen as delicate and dependent, simply because he seemed so young compared to his other siblings. It pissed him off. He tried his best to prove that not only could he take care of himself, he was more competent than all of his siblings combined.

He dedicated himself to his schoolwork. He only participated in clubs and extracurriculars that developed practical life skills. He quickly rose to the top of his class, earning awards and scholarships aplenty. He was more successful at the age of thirteen than any of his older siblings. And yet, he did not get the recognition he desired.

Realizing his family was a lost cause, Ikki decided to figure out his life without their or help. He decided he would attend S.K., to further prove his success. His achievements in school had allowed him in on recommendations, and he is determined to prove he is still the best there is. However, there is a new challenger that always seems a step ahead of him: Daido.

A mutant quirk that gives the all the properties of a cactus. The is made of cactus fibers and covered in thorns. These thorns are ejectable. The can root themselves into the ground to prevent being budged, and require very little food and water to survive.

The requires plenty of sunlight to remain healthy, and the thorns can easily fall off. They take a long time to grow back.
