Mario References in Geometry Dash

If you hit this icon on the main menu,

you'll receive it. It's design is similar to the rotating blocks in Super Mario World.

If you type spooky into the vault, you'll get this icon

Its design is obviously reminiscent to the shy guys in various Mario games.

If you collect 10 coins, not only do you unlock the vault, but you also get this icon.

This is another obvious reference to the Mario series as this icon resembles the mushrooms of the franchise. You can even color it to make it look like 1 ups, poison shrooms, and mini mushrooms if you're fine with it being bigger than normal.

If you complete 30 map packs, you'll obtain this UFO.

This is a reference to the Koopa clown car that Bowser, Bowser Junior, and the Koopalings ride in several Mario games.

In the Fireballs? video, you can see fireballs connected to each other spinning on a brick.

This is a reference to the fire bars from various Mario games.

There are two Mario references in the level.

The fire balls that emerge from lava or monsters' mouths is a reference to the podoboos in the Mario games.

This reference is not as well known.

Notice the arrow sign? Well, it may just be a reference to the arrow signs from some of the newer Mario games.

These two backgrounds on my screen have a Mario reference.

The hill Backround is a reference to the various hill backgrounds in Mario games.

The checkerboard ground on the other hand is a reference to the checkerboard ground from super Mario bros. 3 ( and remakes ) seen on the title screen and various castle levels.
