〔 TEN x WINWIN,Lovely Choreography | εϊз 〕

The song name is ' lovely ' while winwin and ten did a choreography for this and the original is from billie eilish. anyway at first find the setting with these two trees so beautiful while this feeling of nature suits this cover so amazingly. plus it looks so pretty and aesthetic with like winwin's grey outfit and ten's beige. it in general is a contemporary choreography which i think is a perfect decision for this type of music while they portray the emotions and thoughts the lyrics try to deliver in such a beautiful way. both are such expressive and outstanding dancers while their strong and impactful facial expressions are easily noticeable. they in general do well with such emotional songs and finding a memorable way to portray these feelings. this also points out how they execute these moves in such a graceful and controlled way. they both dance in such a precise and fluid way which makes watching them so mesmerising. plus the choreography itself is so well thought off especially because they start it with a mirror and continue to face different directions as if they're counterparts to each other. the transition to the mirror disappearing and them dancing in such a close way is so well done. and then they added such a powerful and dynamic part for when the song gets a little more intense which i think makes it so interesting to watch. plus the contrast to that slow ending with them being close to each other in front of one of the trees leaves such an impact. another aspect which stood out to me is the use of hand movements they included which makes everything look so detailed and impressive. they're simply such skilled dancers while watching them dance together is so captivating and irable. it's definitely a cover i enjoy watching even though i don't do it often.

〔 Eunkwang & Jongho & Seungmin   on Kingdom , Love    Poem. | εϊз〕

I listened to this a good 3 times before snapping out of the world that this piece created around me . The song itself , Love Poem by IU , for whatever reason , i have never listened to it before . Listening to it with the lyrics on the side was definitely a goose-bumpy experience .Kingdom  definitely serves content, with all of these idol crossovers and live stages where we get to hear their raw vocals. Seungmin , Eunkwang and Jongho many times proved themselves to be the Main Vocalists of their groups and this performance is just one of the many great examples . There isn’t much to say on that since it’s pretty self explanatory once you gave it a listen at least once. Perhaps Eunkwang overdid it a little towards the end , but who is Eunkwang if he isn’t a little extra amirite? Nonetheless , they showed great ion ,techniques and skills that could not be overlooked.  A few things i didn’t like here ( personal opinion and not their fault obviously ) , even though the song is very sentimental , i believe the making it monochromatic for the most part wasn’t a good choice , seeing colours made me feel much more connected with the ambience they created on the stage as a trio . Also perhaps they didn’t change from previous stages ? i don’t know i didn’t watch it , but i would like to see them wearing something more matching. There is chanel boy Seungmin, old gold idol fit Eunkwang and fluff Jongho👁👁 i mean we don't complain in this household but what if they all dressed different ,more matching clothes? Overall ,loved it very much , might listen to it again on a sad day.

〔 Mujin & Chiwoo , Officially missing you | εϊз 〕

i'm excited that we're actually doing this idea of mine so soon while i'm especially excited to read about the covers i added for this blog. anyway the first cover i got randomly assigned is 'officially missing you' which is by mujin and chiwoo from kingdom while the original is from geeks. to be honest i have mixed feelings about this, because everyone who knows me or has seen me around realized that i'm not the biggest fan of slow songs including this one. i mostly enjoy them to the fullest from my favourites, but these boys don't count into this. anyway to make this positive i have to say that they did a good job in covering this song and adding such captivating as well as strong emotions to this. i don't know the original, but i appreciate the emotional aspect to this while it gets me in my feels yet in a way it also comforts me and it's amazingly ed by their voice tones. plus i'm proud of them, especially because it's a beautiful example of rappers who can deliver such stunning vocals. like both of them are rappers and i think that their singing techniques are quite intriguing while they make this sound so pretty. however i'm definitely more here for their rapping than anything else. i mean like they sound so powerful and confident while they use such intriguing flows. plus them rapping in a more emotional way combined with such ion is irable. the song in general sounds so calm and somehow elegant. lastly i do think that they did an amazing job and that it's a mesmerising and high quality cover yet not something i would repeat or overall listen to often.

〔 Luminous, Butter re-arranged cover | εϊз 〕

Every cover that i was assigned for this blog , were my first listens and therefore i had much fun writing about them since it's still refreshing and new to me . Both Luminous and the song Butter by BTS (🤡) are something i didn't engage much with so far. The few latest bts songs have megerd in my head into one single song and now Butter , permission to dance and dynamite remix plays in my head from time to time , wild and chaotic if you ask me. Back to the Luminous cover , what a cool rearrangement. I think it is so much better when artists add their own elements to the song , change intonations and the tempo , we have heard the original, we don't want to see multiple versions of the same song( or do we 🤨🤪 ) and i believe Luminous and their company understood the assignment. Great voices and a lovely set up. I loved how they made a close up to the ing instruments. Personally gasped when they did a close up on that sexy bass guitar 🤩 :+1: liked it very much. And other details such as their concept matching outfits and the little change in the lyrics they've made to include Suzy(their mascot) , that was so cute of them . The guitar solo was another amazing point of this cover , we love live music and artists that can pull it off. A good cover that got some well deserved recognition . Hoping to see more of Luminous covers and wishing them all the best.

〔 Niki , Lie dance cover | εϊз 〕

Honestly, I have already seen this one a while ago but Niki would never disappoint me while rewatching it. Since I actually wanted to learn this choreography myself and already started learning a few of those moves, I can tell you that it is HARD to hit those as hard as Jimin does. You have probably seen a few “lie” dance covers by fans & maybe even idols but I feel like nobody does it the way Jimin does, he is just dancing in his own little world. However, I do believe that ever since I saw Niki dancing to this song, he could easily Jimin’s little world because this dance cover is an absolute masterpiece. Niki started dancing at a young age and his parents even own a dance studio so it is not much of a surprise that he is born with talent, but compared to other dancers he makes good use of it. Specifically in this cover you can see very well how much of a body control he has as he makes hitting the beats and switching between faster and slower paces seem so easy. And that’s when it is actually pretty hard to manage since you need to listen, maybe even feel, every single beat in order to have perfect timing. Especially the part at 0:36 and continuing fascinates me every time simply because I am in love with his energy. He is popping his chest SO well and every move has enough energy to make it look ionate but not too much so that it won’t end up messy. Niki even adds the same little details such as pulling his head back at 0:50 or 1:07. His body language, the body lines and his facial expressions are on point and make that cover look too perfect to be true. I would really like to see Jimin & Niki dancing together just to see how similar it will be because honestly- I feel like Niki will be one of kpop’s dance legends if he continues dancing like this.

〔 DKB , Snapping   |   εϊз 〕

Woah DKB and their dance cover of Chungha’s Snapping. Another great example of a group that understood the assignment and added their own elements to the already existing choreography . I played the two ( original choreo and the dkb cover ) side by side and it was a little funny how Chungha was moving so elegantly and effortlessly , looking like 30% of energy usage while DKB were like , YUH ,POWER , UGH , GIVING OUR ALL , SLIDE DOWN , STAND UP , sharp move here an extra one there , LET”S GET IT INTO IT . The expression “ dancing as if rent is due” fits the cover perfectly . I loved every bit of it , personally respect the effort that they put into one single , not even 2 minutes long dance cover . A stage collaboration between Chungha and DKB would look amazing and would have brought humanity to the next level methinks . Might check out DKB after this .

ok so, I did heard for them somewhere and somehow but I don't know how ,, I didn't know they are an actual kpop boy group but here I am learning something new each day hehe ,, they clearly got talent and I love it !! they keep the mood of song through whole cover and I liked that. I love how they dressed well to go with the song !! I have to say I got interested in those dudes :eyes: like, the way they dance ooooooo they absolutely have that power from the start till the end and they have that weird yet good vibe between them that holds that special 'touch' of performance and whole point of it. I think they absolutely need to keep going and don't give up. I wish them all the best !!

〔 Estet Cover Dance Club , Cold Blooded | εϊз 〕

let me applaud for my russian ancients who absolutely ROCKED those outfits and made a cover that is way too close to the original! When I saw the coldblooded mv for the first time, I just KNEW that kpop dance groups would make sick dance covers of it with transitions, different groups and matching outfits. I couldn’t wait to see the results and I am simply impressed by how well they did with this one! Estet cover dance group is a group that I have been watching a few times already because I liked their attitude and yes maybe also because they are from russia lmao. But I must say that they have improved a lot! Back then I had seen them for the first time when they covered “Alcohol free” by twice and you could see that they didn’t practice enough, rushing to post a cover that they could on youtube when it ended up not being a good cover. They definitely had some potential and the outfits were as always, perfect, but I feel like people immediately see if there is something off in the choreography. Especially if they have seen the original one tons of times simply because they were watching it nonstop in order to see their favorites. That’s why it is very important to take enough time to practice and practice until you can say that you are satisfied with everyone’s (!) timing, movements and facial/body expressions. Even simple details such as levels can already make a huge difference but this time, they have done a very good job. The transitions into different scenes were exactly as in the music video, the outfits were stunning too and I was in love with that one girl’s attitude that was mainly in the center of the group. We should never forget that those are filmed in PUBLIC and being brave enough to wear such clothes when literally your boss could see you is impressive. It’s cool that they didn’t change anything about the choreo like other groups have done it but just covered the whole music video at once.Even though I feel like they could still put a tiny bit more energy or control into their moves to make them as sharp as they are supposed to be, I think that this cover is their best one by far and can only be proud of them hehe <3

OK WOW ! I absolutely loved this cover !! they have talent because they filmed this, I only dance in my room lmao. no, seriously, I adored it so much. they helped me understand some moves that maybe I didn't catch while watching enhypen's dance practice and I like that ! what is the best, I could sense that enhypen vibe while watching them and knowing literally nothing about them ! I loved their expressions and how relaxed they were while dancing. all moves are clear and they actually make sense, they even used original enhypen positions which they pulled off perfectly !! you can clearly see how much effort they gave in this :clap: :two_hearts: ,, even a location they filmed this is related to enhypen and that's cute 🥺 !! I also love how they matched their clothes uwuwuw

〔 Gyehyeon of VERIVERY , Bambi | εϊз 〕

Due to the recent departure of our member Henri , i took up on the covers she was supposed to write. One of them happened to be a cover i suggested ,which is Gyehyeon's cover of Bambi by Baekhyun . At first i was like , i'm not gonna write it ,no one will notice that i have only one favourite cover , but then i said , "this isn't about me but about king Gyehyeon and i HAVE TO write this section " . Thus here is me writing about my own favourite cover 🤩 Let's begin shall we . Some songs are so good , Baekhyun as an artist never fails to surprise and leave me in awe , so it's hard to do better than the original. This cover of bambi is no exception, HOWEVER!! This doesn't mean we will ignore the fact that Gyehyeon absolutely ate that sh*t up . I really love how simple is the mise en scène here , a plain background and nothing else in sight . This is definitely forcing you to focus on Gyehyeon and proceed to notice little details about him , his leather jacket , well done hair , his intimidating and luring gaze as well as the overall charismatic aura he has. Clean vocals , not a single mistake in carrying out those high notes and transitions. I also feel some type of way when at one point his voice went :chart_with_downwards_trend: :chart_with_downwards_trend: wow . . . *blushes* He definitely shouldn't be slept on for his vocal range and his ionate performance even when all he did was sit there. I also believe that singing key parts instead of a full cover was a great decision, he showed us what he's got without making it boring and tiring, much appreciated. So yes please go check out the cover and VERIVERY as well :flushed: ♡
