f. name
chiyoko. 'chi' is written with the kanji for blood. while it isn't actually her government name, it's the one she's used her whole life - if someone was to call her by her god given name, dani, chances are she wouldn't reply, or very difficultly so. it's not like 'chiyoko' is a pseudonym - rather, as a child of dual heritage, she has two names. perhaps she would have answered to dani more easily if she was raised in the US instead of Japan.
l. name
chiyoko's last name, ugokino, actually comprises the word 'ugoki', which roughly translates to ''to move''. it's a funny coincidence that put together with her first name, her last name sounds a lot like 'to move blood'.
h. name
Sang. she isn't really fond of having to name things, as it isn't really her domain of expertise, but chiyoko compromised by choosing her hero name to be the word 'blood', in french. while it's not exactly elaborate or sophisticated, it does the job and sounds unique enough for her to be recognized by it.
nicknames.
she doesn't really have nicknames. mostly diminutives, because 'chiyoko' can be quite annoying to repeat in the long run, and not enough people know her as 'dani' to just call her that. for that reason, her close ones sometimes call her chi, YK, or even chiyo. it's not like she minds, so she lets people take creative liberties with the diminutives they use on her.
language.
english and japanese. from a young age, she bathed in both japanese culture and american culture - and by that, hear african american culture. though she doesn't exactly get a chance to practice english in her day to day life, her fluency level hasn't been going down thanks to her keeping in touch with her relatives on the other side of the sea.
age.
though it depends on the context she's being depicted in, generally 15-18, so first year to third year. while her creator doesn't roleplay much, they still wish to insist that they don't age their characters up unless the aim is to depict them as pro heroes.
sex.
chiyoko is afab. her parents didn't actually know what their child would have inbetween their legs - as they had voluntarily asked her mom's obgyn not to tell them - which is why her birth name, dani, could belong to both a boy and a girl.
gender.
it's not like she herself cares - she doesn't exactly like to put labels on her gender, but does use any and all pronouns. though most people use she/they on them.
sexuality.
they're actually pansexual. while she's never been in love and has only had tiny crushes here and there, these crushes didn't depend on any physical traits - rather, she likes someone's soul, their personality and way of being.
date of birth.
she was born on august 15th, in a rather crowded hospital in musutafu's direct surroundings. while she didn't actually live anywhere near musutafu at the time - in fact, her parents resided in tokyo - she sometimes thinks it was fate for her to be born so close to what would later become the high school of her dreams.
zodiac sign.
chiyoko is a leo. and, though she isn't big on astrology herself, she does know most people see leos as arrogant - which is something she isn't really, but does come across as sometimes, especially from how overly nonchalant and unresponsive she can seem - though really, it's not her fault, she's constantly exhausted or thinking.
nationality.
while she's lived most of her life in Japan, chiyoko and her family are adamant she still acknowledges the other half of her heritage, and explores it. therefore, she herself insisted to be granted to the right to double nationality, making her legally both american and japanese.

height.
...chiyoko is only 169 centimeters tall. perhaps this might sound relatively tall to some people, especially to her fully japanese peers, but her family in America easily towers over her and she's definitely done growing, which caused her to develop quite the complex - though only as light as a feather, as she isn't one to let her height stop her from achieving her goals.
weight.
well. though she certainly doesn't look the part, chiyoko is actually sickly. which means she sometimes has trouble feeding herself - though it doesn't have anything to do with an eating disorder, she struggles with forcing herself to eat despite her body rejecting it. which is why she only weighs 54 kg. though this isn't exactly a shocking weight, keep in mind it's that of a wannabe hero - needless to say, she hasn't managed to build a lot of muscles, though she's actually seeing a doctor regarding this. while it's quite the slow process, their quirk helps stabilize her health, which in return allows her to feed herself and exercise without facing much resistance.
basic description.
chiyoko doesn't look very common, not in Japan that is. her rather dark skin doesn't quite follow the norm there. but besides that, her hair isn't exactly the norm either - seemingly untamed, not that she even tries at this point, and natural red streaks, though she doesn't know where they're from as neither her mother nor her dad have red hair. the rest of her curls looks quite normal though; they're simply black. one of the more common things about her - well, common in a society full of quirks - would be her purple eyes. though she rarely ever is sad, her resting face looks a little down, mostly because of said eyes. though really, it's not that she's sad - more like, exhausted. and it honestly shows through her posture sometimes - she'll slouch in class, in the halls, in the lunch room, which doesn't help with her already relatively small height. stature wise, she isn't really notable; though her thighs are softer than that of your average japanese hero course student, it isn't enough of a difference to really be paid much mind to.
c. clothing description.
surprisingly, chiyoko enjoys being outside, taking strolls, sightseeing, and trying out new cafes. since she spends a lot of time outside, she's come to develop her own fashion style, which resembles current day harajuku fashion.

h. clothing description.
chiyoko doesn't really like complex things. in fact, she sometimes gets a headache when thinking too hard, and it really shows with the way she designed her own hero costume - its main piece is a black zip up leotard (though its lower part is comprised of shorts), surmounted with a burgundy cropped hoodie. though this doesn't seem very herolike, the fingerless gloves and kneepads she wears, as well as the control on her arm, which helps track her blood pressure, help make it a little more impressive. she also wears a belt with little compartments, for gadgets. to top it off, she also wears mid thigh high stockings and platform boots (the actually combat functional kind!). while it definitely isn't the definite version of her costume, she's quite satisfied with it right now.

────────────────
personality.
chiyoko could be described in many ways. a laidback person, perhaps a nonchalant one, yet still polite to the best of their capacity. a socially awkward hero wannabe, whose bored looks aren't really helping them socialize. but she's more than that - while all these statements might be true, she's also a hardworking, ionate person - when she puts her mind to it, that is. she also has an endearing tendency to procrastinate and then panic when all her laziness eventually catches up to her. but despite not liking schoolwork, she always ends up doing it, because she was given a precious chance by enrolling into U.A and she wants to make it count. she often comes across strays, some of them being hurt, and always feeds and patches them up regardless of how busy or tired she might be. but these things don't exactly show from her rather unkept appearance; people assume she's a villainous character because of her quirk and indifferent exterior.
yet, she actually looks indifferent because of how tired she is - both from her health issues, and because she often stays up until ungodly hours to review the class materials, and take care of household chores. she likes to daydream about making friends at school, which makes her unresponsive at times; but people would assume she's simply ignoring them. she takes jokes literally, and lets the people around her give her whatever nicknames and diminutives they want, because she thinks it's endearing they'd even want to use these on her. people always assume chiyoko is mean and cold hearted, yet never take the time to wonder what she might be like, which saddens her, because she really wants to make friends, but her own social anxiety prevents her from making the first step. but the few people she's been close with all think she's a very kind person, albeit a bit odd at times.
habits.
whenever she gets up from a chair while wearing a skirt, chiyoko always smoothes its fabric out, especially in the back. though it's more out of habit than out of genuine worry now, it stems for a bad prank a classmate had tried to pull on her in 6th grade. and, well, let's just say she was glad she always wore safety shorts under her skirts. similarly, she always checks her heartbeat whenever she feels any strong emotion. most people think it has something to do with her health problem, but she's actually been doing that since she was a child, long before her quirk even manifested. her mom had taught it to her as a grounding technique, a way for her to tell herself she's okay, and her heart is still beating normally.

q. name
Bloodbending.
explanation.
As the quirk name suggests, Chiyoko's quirk allows her to kinetically manipulate blood, create objects out of it, or simply move it around, be it her own blood or someone's else's; whether the blood is in the target's body or not isn't exactly relevant. her quirk is basically walmart telekinesis, as it only affects blood. and while very powerful, this quirk does have a few drawbacks. much like stain's quirk, the blood type of the person she's using it on makes the effects vary - while she's only able to slightly move around O and B group people, A and AB type people are quick to fall under her complete control - kinetically, that is. she herself is typed AB-.
drawbacks.
though it's been hinted at multiple times throughout this wiki entry, chiyoko's quirk actually makes them sickly. while bloodbending is a very powerful quirk, it is also very easy for its wielder to accidentally hurt themselves - which chiyoko has experienced. her quirk manifested a month before she turned 4, while she was sleeping; and because she wasn't paying attention, and didn't control her quirk either, she accidentally tempered with her blood flow, permanently altering her blood pressure and therefore her health. well, 'permanently' would've been true if society wasn't full of quirks, but as previously mentioned earlier in this wiki, she's actually seeing a doctor whose quirk is slowly but surely helping her. another drawback, is that chiyoko loses blood when she uses her quirk for too much time. a rough estimation would be 2 minutes of use = 100mL of blood lost. and while it's not a huge amount, it piles up, which is quite dangerous considering chiyoko's constitution is still quite weak.
c. opinions.
despite her quirk being the origin of a lot of her problems, chiyoko actually doesn't resent it. in fact, she's quite grateful, as she thought she wouldn't develop a quirk at all - after all, it only manifested a month before the 'deadline'. and while she does wish she'd been a little more careful that fateful night she graduated from quirklessness, she doesn't mind as she thinks she would've grown up to be arrogant and violent had she gotten such a powerful quirk with no drawback. chiyoko regards her quirk as a blessing - a lot of people didn't get so lucky - and wishes to use it for the greater good, because it's too powerful to be used for selfish gain, or not used at all. as a child, she used to think it was a rather villainous quirk, but nowadays she's actually grateful for it as it made her more open minded regarding quirks.

origins.
ugokino dani was born in a small hospital somewhere near musutafu, while her parents were in vacation there. unlike a lot of my hero academia original characters, she actually had a pretty basic life - her parents didn't abuse or starve her, nor did they try to force her to follow a path she didn't want to. she was a normal child in a loving family, with normal hobbies and a decent lifestyle; while she wasn't the richest, she certainly wasn't poor either. but then, how did she even become a hero course student? well, since little, she'd always been a fan of heroes, especially those with blood related quirks, because she recognized herself in them. she believed her quirk to be malicious up until 8 years old, when a hero with basically the same quirk as her said on tv they used to think the same. they said that quirks didn't actually matter - spirit did. that quirks weren't an extension of their wielder's psyche, and that what determined whether a quirk was evil or not was the way it was used. and that's how she went from a casual hero enjoyer to a wannabe hero - she wanted to believe in the word of this hero. and while she's long forgotten their name, she often thinks about them and how they changed the direction of her life, unknowingly.

p. health.
well, I'm actually the bearer of good news - it seems she's been getting a lot better. not only because of the doctor she's been seeing, but also because she's found interests and things to dedicate her time to, and works out ; it may not seem like it, but morale is as important as staying fit.
m. health.
a lot of people assume she's depressed, sad, or anything of the kind. she's not. she's actually pretty content with her life. though she wishes she could have more friends, she's fine - it's not like she feels ostracized. and while she can be very lazy and messy, it's more out of physical fatigue than out of mental illness. it's not like her life is perfect either - she can feel angry, sad, frustrated, or other emotions, but these aren't what she feels on a regular basis. it's mostly tiredness, confusion, distraction or motivation.

family relationships.
father.
ugokino hisho. a good man, and an even better father, assuredly. he's very close with his children and s them to the best of his ability, though he doesn't fully understand them and their teenager minds - but hey, it's the thought that counts, and clearly, he'd die for his kids.
mother.
ugokino chloe. a great mother; while she can be overprotective at times, she's never invasive and knows her boundaries; it's from a place of worry, and her children know it well. because she used to have difficulties adaptating to life in japan, she likes to give her children fruit to share with their friends. without understanding one of them doesn't have friends, and the other hates sharing his food.
siblings.
ugokino seishin. chiyoko's older brother, he actually got the social genes - unlike her. jokes aside, despite being vastly different, they're actually very close.
friend/platonic relationship.
