The land of treasures

Embrace the death that gave you birth

Oh hail the curse that blessed you free

Perceive the stigma of mirth

March the hymns of irony

Temporary is what comes with fame

Undying is a practised ion flame.

The tree I sowed in my gifted land

shall take a hundred years before it reaps

it would need water from a thousand hands

after I'm gone, it will be the life I seeped.

The living doesn't die until it's forgotten

he lives as many years his stories do.

The certitude ignites the will to do great

that even history s of inventions and discoveries

of the lives one sacrificed and saved

of the turmoil toiled and peace wrecked.

To be ed as revolutionaries

those that defied 'a single can't make a change'.

Strive to live as an old soul with a young spirit

aware of the atrocities yet full of light

who finds pride in the little steps of development

for evolution is a constant journey not destination

Embrace the cons of your neighbour

they are but humans too.

                                         Author's Note

       This poem is inspired from Ma City which gives an insight to another beautiful theme conveyed by BTS in their 'Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa ' album. The song talks about how the boys take pride in their homeland and no matter how big and successful they become there's no place that gives more comfort than the one they've spent their childhood in.

There's this attachment we all have with our motherland that even if it's underdeveloped or in the process of developing and has more cons to point out, we'd always stand for it if something ever goes wrong. Exactly what the main theme of this poem is— embracing the free land we're born on because alot of great people have spent their whole lives dedicated to it because of whom we're living a comfortable life. One should have an aim in life and ion for it, as it's the most important thing that leads to success. A person should also try to be understanding because no one or anything is made of full perfection, we all have flaws and we can only work on them for our own betterment but we first have to acknowledge them.

There's a mention of alot of tragedies and main archives of the ' hometowns which shows that Korea, one of the most civilized and well provided country also had alot of struggle to be in the race of democracy and power. Only with the development of human brain can a nation evolve because only then it can use it's resources to the fullest and find pride in it.

A poem can always have multiple interpretations, this is one I initially thought of, feel free to share yours as well!<3
